Beautiful video! Dutch words are not always easy to pronounce but for someone I do not understand the language (Danish) you did a good job. If you come again to our country below the waterline, there is so much more to see than just this world's famous places. With a 10 to 30 km drive you are in the Netherlands completely in a different place ....... The caves in Limburg, castles in Gelderland, Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve, Giethoorn. One of the smallest 11 cities in Friesland, Hindeloopen (world heritage), various palaces such as Palace Soestdijk, Palace 't Loo at Apeldoorn. Do not forget about nature park Hoge Veluwe or Radio Kootwijk. The government seat in The Hague, Peace Palace (International Court of Justice) but also the industrial Botlek near Rotterdam, a beautiful place for night photography etc etc ........

Fabulous as ever Mads. I visited Amsterdam last Autumn and managed to the bus and train up to Zanse Schans for sunrise. Top tip. Use google maps transit directions for train times to get you there well before sunrise. I found one of the small jettys to shoot the windmills with the dawn light behind them. Across the river would give a better perspective but that seems to be private property along the waterfront. I also found the lovely spot at 6:42. Managed to get a 30sec LE off just before 2 bus loads of tourists walked over the foot bridge. Highly recommend getting there at sunrise to cut down on tourists. Keep up the great work Mads.

Thanks a lot, yeah I would have loved to be there for sunrise/sunset but that sadly wasn't possible. I went to Kinderdijk the same day for sunset and sunrise the next morning and I'm pretty happy I prioritized that location :)

I must confess, i am a new subscriber (6 weeks subbed?), and i have not watched all of your videos yet, i didnt even watch this one until now! Usually i would binge watch all videos in a single session, or split over a few days, but not your content, i prefer to watch just one video now and then and just take it all in, the cinematography, the photography, the ambience, and the soundtrack you use, it all adds up to a wonderful 10 minutes or so viewing pleasure. This video has to be the most beautiful i have seen for such a long time. The dutch landscape really seems familiar to me, it is so flat, just like where i live here in the fens of norfolk, and we have windmills but nothing on this scale! Before sea levels rose during the last ice age thaw, there was a land bridge from the netherlands to my part of the uk, and we have so many dutch people living in the fens that it often feels like the netherlands (that and the volume of weed smoked probably excels that of our dutch neighbours lol), and it makes me want to go back there again one day! Thank you for producing such gorgeous films Mads, and for sharing them with us, they are greatly appreciated!

Awesome footage Mads ! I've been waiting for this one for a couple weeks, but it was surely worth it. I will be visiting Rotterdam & Kinderdijk in November, hoping that the Autumn light will cooperate. I see that you are making an European series, put Bruges (Belgium) on your list if it's not on it yet. It's a 15 minutes drive from my home, Unesco World Heritage aswell with a medevial centre, lots of canals with a " klokketårn " ;-) , it''s called the "Venice of the North". Looking forward to the next video ! Don't you have any video of Denmark ? 2 years ago we visited Vejle, Hvide Sande and Billund, we very liked that region.

Nice to watch this video, I live in Holland and I've been taking pictures of the tulips in Flevoland last year :) Did you by any chance find a field of tulips with an old windmill anywhere? I didn't last year, and I was really hoping to find that.. Still had a great time though :)
@tonyturner76767 жыл бұрын
Stunning images. Especially liked the yellow tulips composition and the images of the windmills at the end. I notice you used several ND filters for the long exposures, did you have to use any ND Grads to balance the exposure of some of them?

Thanks a lot Tony, nope I only use normal ones and bracket my shots if necessary :)
