I'm frankly happy for O' Connor's 2nd place and for the fact that he legitimized it with a remarkable TT performance ❤💥💯
@user-cx2bk6pm2fАй бұрын
Too bad he's such a dick, though. When he and teammates crashed Carapaz and aggressively badgered other riders, I stopped being a fan. The last straw were his soc media posts claiming innocence and bewilderment at getting yellow-carded. I mean, ride and race as you will, but be a man and own your behavior. The "I din't do nuffin" excuse is for children.
@bradw7457Ай бұрын
?... Right in the middle between Rog avg tt and Mas? Pretty avg tt for him. What does that legitimize? He took 6.5 minutes on stg 6, which was great for him, but without that it was a top 10 performance in a fairly light gc field
@user-cx2bk6pm2fАй бұрын
Ben O'Connor and team... thugs who obstructed the rode, crashed Carapaz, aggressively badgered other riders... and then claimed choirboy innocence on soc media after getting yellow-cards and fines. It's hard to be happy for behavior like this.

Happy for O'Connor for finishing a well deserved 2nd in a grand tour. That was a gruelling tour for someone who is a bit below the elite climbers to hang on to a time advantage over Mas and Carapaz over the final 15 stages. Roglic was just too good, but Ben has done Oz proud, as have Groves and Vine in winning the points and king of the mountains classifications.

New Roglic doesn't crash and makes good use of his team.
@TimCuperyАй бұрын
New Roglic seems like old Roglic - crashes out of the Tour, not at the Vuelta (apart from one really bad decision in 2022). There's likely some randomness here, but at also probably matters that the on-road tension and fights for positioning are much less at the Vuelta.
