CS1 with mods just has more character, I even prefer the vanilla game over CS2. Especially since even if you have a monster rig, you’ll never be able to run a full size city with good frame rate and performance. I have a 4080 and the game struggles to run on even lower graphic settings on bigger cities.

Very nice build for vanilla. I own cities 2 but I still play cities 1 instead, but with tons of mods. You did a great job recreating the LA river and Griffith observatory. Also I wish the real LA had such a robust heavy rail network.

I have been playing CS2 for about 35 hours now and I have to say that I like a lot about the game, but I do miss the endless possibilities of CS1. All the DLC but also the downloadable assets and MODs. I miss them. I don't miss waiting to my game to be loaded for 15 minutes though :P
