I can’t believe we’ve made it this far already Pedro, you’re almost finishing this series after what’s been around 2 years! I love this battle with Giovanni, it puts the characters in a spot where they both have they’re livelihoods on the line. And the animation has improved so much over time too! One little thing that made me happy for Red concerning his character is how his relationship with Leaf and how he told the bustling crowd to go to the Viridian Gym as that was his next destination.

I still have to wonder how he will show Red catching Squirtle and Bulbasaur (for the Mt. Silver battle between Ethan/Gold). I feel bad for leaf she tried to make it into hoenn e4 position but got routed by fellow grass trainer in the anime by Serena yes the same Serena who traveled with ash n Brock Serena and Winona are the subs for the elite four actually in hoenn There is a reason for this Drake is getting old n nearing retirement n Steven saw Winona as his successor Serena he wanted as she saw her beat leaf and thought she had great battle prowess In addition Steven wanted a sub for brawly as he is supposed to keep an eye for magma n aqua activity 2 criminal organizations and brawly has essentially 2 big lakes between petalburg north in addition to slateport to patrol and keep an eye on swimmers surfers n etc Steven does help brawly with team magma n aqua from Time to time STEVEN wanted someone else to help brawly in gym related matters in case he required brawlys assistance or brawly went somewhere as he often does Steven asked Sidney a dark type elite four member to man the dewford gym from time to time as dewford gym leader as the gym leader This is why the gym is dark and it fits the manga
