Only 60k miles but so far people with high mileage Coyote's haven't complained about anything serious so I'm confident that even with my driving habits I'll get way more than 200k miles on it and if it does blow up, rebuild it

Great story! My dad took me on a tour of the Dearborn plant in 1969 and I was blown away, I was only 9 but to see that assembly line was just incredible. They were running 69 Mach1's and I was in awe. The 69 & 70 Mach1 with shaker hood is my favorite. That's what sold me on the 03! The 03/04 Mach1 is my favorite now. Thanks for the Great story!👍👍

I love my new edge it’s a v6 2001 but super reliable. It’s my first car and I plan on keeping it for very many years to come. These new edges and sn95s are becoming really rare “even the v6” if you own a new edge or a older sn95 please hang on to it! You won’t regret it!

In December 2011 I drove to the Ford Ranger production plant in St.Paul Minnesota on the last day of production. I was driving my 2009 Ranger. Every direction I looked I saw thousands of white Rangers, 6-8 tan and brown Rangers and one medium/dark blue Ranger. The white 2011 XLT Supercab Ranger I bought in June 2015 might have been there since it was built in November 2011. Ford sold around 55,000 Rangers in each of 2009 and 2010. Ford announced that 2011 was the last year of production and they received a surge of fleet orders selling around 70,000 2011 Rangers. I currently have three white Rangers: 2004 and 2009 XL longbeds and a 2011 XLT Supercab. All three are 2.3 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission and 2wd. When production starts on a brand new vehicle design the first run of them are usually black, brown and dark colors since it’s harder to notice door and body panel gaps as they tweak production techniques and figment.

Man my pops got his 1999 mustang gt 5spd electric green back in 99 i didnt like the body style at first but once we drove it home i fell in love with it he did a jack rabbit take off in it from a dead stop i had a smile on my face from ear to ear my pops still has it till this day taking it out from time to time still street racing it sometimes lol fun cars

I own an 04 GT 40th Anniversary SE in Oxford white. Bought it new and has 55k miles. Love the cars growl. I also own a 94 Corvette, but the growl of the Mustang is unique.😎

Neat video - reminds me of the “last Ford Ranger” that rolled off the line back home at the Ford assembly plant in St. Paul, Minnesota! From my recollection, the last run of Rangers were also all Oxford White - not surprising considering how many Rangers were put into service as basic work trucks! Another interesting video to look at regarding DAP is a clip that was filmed in the mid-1960’s for the song “Nowhere To Run” by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. This “music video” if you will was filmed at DAP while Mustangs were literally rolling down the assembly line - let’s just say it was a different place and time since the corporate lawyers would probably never allow anything like this to happen in modern times....😂

Very interesting story and that date of May 10th .. as I have an 01 GT Deluxe Convertible auto Sliver on Silver with factory Bullet Wheels and it's production date was May 2001 but the reason I like the New Edge to be the look and feel of riding in my Aunt's Yellow 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator 428 CJ

The white 64 mustang was sent to a ford dealer in St. John’s Newfoundland was never meant to be sold. A retired car salesman never new it was the first one made and sold it. Ford offered a trade to get the car back they offered a fully loaded 66 mustang that was the 1 millionth one built

I got a fire red 2004 GT 40th annivrsary coupe 5 speed manual black leather shaker hood mach audio. Love the car. I will never sell it. Bought it for 10K with only 60K miles on it. Shes at 104K now. When the motor goes im going to drop a coyote in it. Tho the motor i have now runs like new. Oh an the car was from North Carolina and I brought her back to her home state Michigan.

Justin Johnson every now and again I find one and give the VIN to my mechanic who always finds out that there is something wrong with the car whether it’s frame damage, a busted clutch or even flood damage. Fell in love with it when I first saw my neighbor get one in 2004. Currently own a sonic blue v6 coupe and I’m sick of it sounding like a trumpet.

Great vlog, very informative, new edge my favorite as well, out my 3 new edges that I own, my 04' Cobra in redfire pearl, with very low miles and always garaged, the clearcoat is starting to peel on the hood, not so with the other two, is redfire a defective paint? I've seen comments about redfire, where it's a common trait, bummer, I'll have to put three coats of clear, when I'll repair it.

Ford never sold that car it’s stored in the old glass plant or the new model center which every u want to call the building at the rouge complex all the tires are flat and there’s a big dent on the left rear corner, been working there20yrs so I seen it with my own eyes, that car never left the Dearborn complex

The Ford Rough Complex Original Building B, was a three-story structure, it was part of the legendary Dearborn Assembly Plant, which started producing Model A's in about 1920 and continued production through 2004. The final Mustang was also the end of the legendary Dearborn Assembly Plant. This 84-year-old plant had to be torn down to make room for the new F150 Truck. I worked in the maintenance department on some weekends. It was an uncertain time because we were not sure if Ford would still need as many hourly workers as they had. I made it out this year with 42 years of service with Ford. It would be great to find out were the last 2004 Mustang GT is. I do have some friends who could know. If I find it, I will post the this info in your comments. Thank for doing all your research. It brought a tear to my eye. Hope to meet you and your brother some day here in MI. for our Woodward cruise. Our mustang club: www.mocsem.com has it’s your own parking spot called Mustang Ally. This year the date is: Saturday August 17. And on August 18 there will be a Mustang show at the Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn MI.

These cars were awfully slow and the Interior was awful since '94. I don't understand why they didn't go with a new interior design with the introduction of this new SN95. If you ask me the introduction to the 2005 S197's were the improvement to both body, interior, and a step in the right direction with performance.

It wouldn’t have been. If you remember in the video it said that the cars were finished in complexity first so the cobras were finished then the Mach 1‘s then all the GT‘s and then the V6 cars. White Mach 1’s are awesome
