There’s 2 main problems here: (1) is that Latanya doesn’t realize how far gone this situation is. She even said herself she didn’t see much of a difference between his condition today and 2 yrs ago, when he clearly went from being a “normal” person to a skeleton. (2) they are both addicts and codependent on each other. If either one of them were alone, the chances of getting clean would increase significantly. But since they are both strung out, and drugs are obviously a central part of their relationship, getting clean is like trying to come up from quick sand.

I believe she though Art ment if Martin har gotten worse in the time he's been Martin. If you understand me? She knows, she's with him every day. But to survive the situation she's in, she's numbed herself. You have to. She could not go around every minute of every day and think about death because that'd make her go mad. She can just as easily die. Every day. Both from an od and if she's prostituting. So she just numbs everything. I could tell you a lot more of what I lived with when I was with The Love of my Life, but I'm telling you it's unbelievable what a human being can suppress if they need to. It's a coping mechanism. But look at her, she's very emotional. She knows. She just suppresses because she has to. It's to much. I feel so bad for her.
@yourssincerelyposh8903 Жыл бұрын
She likely prostitutes herself for drugs n likely infected him with an incurable disease. His deterioration is beyond drug use. They should get tested for HIV. The swollen feet, his colour, sucken, immobility kinda suggests something.

Well quicksand is actually not that bad. It’s water and sand. Humans are buoyant in water and more so when sand is mixed in. The difficulty is moving to a solid patch of land or finding something to use to pull yourself out. But, I understand what you’re trying to say.
@ReasonablySpeaking9808 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree. His easygoing disposition make panhandling easier, and her mobility makes it easier for her to bring back the drugs- CODEPENDENT. I am praying for these people continuously. Now she wants free stuff like him, so she’s ‘being friendly’ to talk. I hate this for them, and any addict! Drug addiction is a wicked HELL burden.

I know. I don't like the comments calling her male. In my opinion, it's obvious that she isn't. I don't agree with what she did to Martin, but as addicts, they probably do that toxic crap to each other. I don't think it does anything for a woman's self-esteem to be derogatory about how they look 🙏🏻

It is really sad what these two are going through. I am 5 years clean I used to be addicted to heroin so i really do know how they feel on some level. Anyone who is bullying this girl because she got into it with her husband needs to grow up. You cant judge a person based off of seeing them at their worst. Look at this womans body with all them burns. She obviously has been through some shit. She might not be in a wheelchair but shes just as handicapped as Jonathan is. I can see that this girl has a heart in there but they are going to need time apart if they really want to get better. They need to go to separate facilities and try to get better. I dont think Jon has a lot of time left so I hope he does it before its too late. They have no confidence and they are really broken. Just because Jonathan is in a wheelchair it doesnt mean we all have to feel sorry for him for that. Yes I feel bad for him too but he is to blame for the reason why he is in the situation he is in. He can still change but he really has to do it fast. A great first step would be to try the Methadone Clinic. Its not for everyone but it worked for me and in my state if you have state insurance they cover it. It is worth a shot but if he went to a hospital while hes enrolled in a methadone clinic they could give him the medication while he is in the hospital. I think that might be a huge worry of his to not have drugs while hes in the hospital as well as the bad news he could hear. I know when I was using that would scare the shit outta me. I wish these two the best and i really hope that they find their way.

We lost my uncle to a drug overdose in the winter of 2020. He just could not kick the habit. Since then, we have lost an aunt due to drug overdose in 2021 and his daughter at 39 this year in August of a drug overdose. Just an FYI, it’s very common to retain so much fluid from continuing addiction (particularly opioids) that hands and legs/feet will swell up and only get worse. Then kidneys and issues with other organs only make the pain and swelling worse and likely to become more of a permanent issue as addiction goes on. I can confirm that daily morphine usage got to my limbs within the first week or 2. Couldn’t even stand without swelling pain. But once I stopped, everything got better. I appreciate that morphine is a much milder beast compared to Fentanyl & other new crap out there now. I feel for these people so much.

My husband was in treatment in Florida and he left to come back to Ohio to be with me , we used for a week together and he said he couldn't go on like this anymore. The next day we were on a bus back to Florida. We struggled for a few more months and finally got our s### together. Today we are happy we have our family bk . My point is it is possible!!!! It traumatized me and while at one shelter, them trappers were pushing on me and after i got into a fight with another shelter resident who tried attacking my partner who was going through chemo at 36 for stomach cancer. Ended up relapsing. It took me a few months to get back on track. Its a hard life. Now i got housing grant for two years and I'm taking it one day at a time. Made a lot of progress since last year and I'm looking to finally try getting back to work. My ptsd from homeless experience, my past abuse and experiences related to my abuse and others around me. People place things. You look like a strong woman and you man is strong. Ask God to give you strength and ask him to help you and Jonathan to heal. Trust me you and him can heal your bodies minds spirit. I know its hard. Yes its hard. It's supposed to be. You didnt get to this low point overnight. God open her eyes and guide her before it’s too late , she doesn’t realize it is very risky to assault someone in Martin or Jonathan condition. One wrong hit could injure or kill him and she could face a lifetime in prison or mental institution. May God bring the tools and instructions for a life a change, for both her and her husband.

That's what addicts do!!!! WE MAKE EXCUSES!!!! And it's especially hard when you basically don't have much to lose!
@silviabparra57 Жыл бұрын
Seems that the love for that addiction is more powerful than love for themselves and especially for thier child. They're so selfish that they forget about their child growing up without his parents. I hope both of their kids don't see these videos. This guy has so much potential. I hope they get their lives straightened out. Gonna pray for both.

Honestly, they both need to go to the hospital, after that check into a rehab center, get their lives together if not for them then for their child. Nevertheless prayers going up 🙏🏽💪🏽🌹

Thank you for speaking to her letting her feel “important” too. She maybe a mad and miserable individual right now but if drugs can take ppl so far that they leave their children to others to care for, ot they live walking night and day in that heat with no bed….them they darn sure arnt happy normal people. They have issues and super hard lives that is unfathomable to most……. Sure it was a choice they made but once a drug addict always a drug addict…… it comes down to how strong mentally they are to fight these urges daily. At least that’s my prospective on it in dealing with my kids bio mothers. Sad sad situations 😢

Since the first time I saw Martin/Johnathon I've been trying to figure out why he looks so familiar and It finally came to me, I think he really looked like this actor, especially a couple of years ago in the first video posted here on the "Lost in Phoenix" channel when he was interviewed under the name "Johnathon". I am guessing that maybe he used the name Martin so that maybe loved ones or people he knew wouldn't see the videos of him and pressure him to get the treatment he so badly needs? I hope he does go for the medical treatment he needs before it is too late, and hopefully gets into treatment soon also, but that is a decision that nobody else can make for him, he has to decide to want it enough and to commit to the very difficult road ahead. This TV show I was mentioning was from years ago, I think it was the early to mid 2000's, you might remember it, I kind of liked the basic plot behind it, as I always felt that television really lacks in positive role models and examples, with so much glorification of violence and all kinds of negativity, but not so much to balance things out on the other side of the scale.. The pilot episode gives the basic plot of the series, and in the intro to each episode there is also a quick rundown of what the show is about, basically it was centred around the main character being a man that was a stereo-typical deadbeat criminal and all around bad guy and one day he won the lottery and immediately got hit by a car and as he lay on the ground injured the ticket blew away in the wind before his eyes. He was then laying injured in the hospital feeling sorry for himself, and something came on the tv there where they were talking about Karma explaining very basically how it works "bad things happen when you do bad things, good things happen when you do good things" and he put two and two together realising that he done so many bad things was the reason why the car hit him as soon as he won the ticket.. He then took it on himself to spend his time in hospital writing a long list of all the bad things he done to people and make it his life mission to undo all the bad karma he had built up over the course of hits life, and that became the plot for each episode, as he revisited the people from his past that he had wronged in an effort to make it up to them and somehow undo the damage ha had caused them in the past so that he could tick them off the list. I really liked the storyline of someone trying to make amends for the wrongs they do, and I think we could all do with some more of that in our lives. Can you guess which of the characters that I felt had a strong resemblance to Johnathon/Martin? The show was titled "My Name is Earl", and I am not sure how famous it was, but it ran for a good few seasons so it must have been popular enough to keep going for that long. I hope that Johnathon/Martin can have one of those epiphanies and manage to change his life for the better, I know how hard it can be, but I say just try not to give up on people, they might need to mess up phenomenally again and again before they really snap inside to the point that they just can't live like that anymore, I've seen it many times before and it can be literal life and death time after time for some, and just one fall to rock bottom for another seeing someone like that come back from the bottom, right back to the top, well that would be a happy end to the story.. sending all the good vibes and prayers for protection and guidance, I hope that they can find a better life where they can be healthy and happy and hopefully reunite with their child and with their family and friends

She is battling such a powerful demon on her own and dealing with and trying to stay from her own physical (crippling withdrawals) and mental pain (feeling not strong enough to be a mother plus the guilt the drugs won over the babies) , she can’t help him. There’s nothing extra in her to help him she’s drowning herself. Also his fear of losing everything is valid rehabs deny people all the time during intake for the smallest health issues there’s a good chance he isn’t accepted anywhere from the hospital due to bed availability and his very severe health issues. Most treatments are barely the beginning of the process and marathon of sobriety, people don’t know how shitty these regular non big ticket treatment centers are.

It’s seems like she kinda jealous that her husband is receiving Attention from people that genuinely care like she should and she doesn’t like attention he’s getting from the audience so try to play a big role and she already a big role his life she needs to get help for herself if she’s wanna help anybody or convince me that she care in general
