RIP Michael Clarke Duncan. Always missed on screen. It's crazy that he passed so soon after this, he seemed happy and healthy :(

The conversation with Sedaris was one of the warmest conversations I´ve seen in this show. In every question, as ridiculous as it may have been, he answered with an honest and thoughtful topic. And that is precisely why I think the show works great with the guests: the seeming insignificance of the conversations seems to bring down people´s guards allowing them to communicate with much more honesty and carelessness than usual interviews allow.

I've read one of his books and I'm pretty sure he and Craig partied hard together in the eighties. Their stories match somehow during that period of heavy substance abuse. ☺️ So they might already have that personal bond with eachother... But I understand what you're trying to say, Craig is a master in conversational skills. He knows perfectly how to disarm anyone during a conversation.

I couldn't watch it. The camera made me seasick

@@Snaakie83 You might be right about how they may have partied hearty, but the beauty of it all is how each of them came out of it all, on the other side. They were individually better people and they also had relationship that wasn't defined or dependent on the things of that old lifestyle. That is pretty cool👍😊.

Craig needs to come back to late night. None of them are funny anymore, they're just obvious political shills anymore. Craig would blow them all out of the water.

@@Snaakie83 "Craig would fight Trump every day..." Maybe I might be misunderstanding your comment. Unlike the late night shows and the many so called comics, Craig like Johnny Carson before him, was able to take an even, balanced approach to the small amount of political stuff they took jabs at. Neither man, to my knowledge, never let their personal views or biases, interfere with entertaining their late night audiences. I haven't watched the show in a long time and because of MCD, it would be a little difficult to do so right now. So if there was something in the context of this video you're referring to, my apologies to you. Have a great day.

Sometimes, I thought of Craig's show, as a more adult version of the old Soupy Sales Show...and for a so called childrens' show, it could be risque in its own right.
