The Olive Garden rant-- F..ng hilarious. His encapsulation of working at Corporate restaurants-is brilkiant and spot on- . In like, 60 seconds. It shows he is an observer on a deep level.. Shanghai is a great town. Classy bars, great nightclubs, arts and culture, sci-fi neon city skyline, British colonial buildings along the harbor, and everything is dirt cheap. You can drink martinis or manhattans all night served to you by a guy in a tuxedo while sitting in leather lounge chairs on a rooftop bar overlooking the city skyline and the bill will be like $50 USD.

They don't deserve the power they wield at tis point. Tim is right, and Jeselnik told that in an interview, that because his humor is dark, they didn't really let him write on Jimmy Fallon. But sometimes people are the ones that want that type of shows. They use the excuse "well the real world is shity, so i want to see something light-hearted and silly" which is fine, and i i get that too.

I don’t believe he did, but James was a guest on a few. I think Tim was using Baldwin as an example of an intelligent guest and the respectful debate style of the time. I’ve been watching a lot of those old shows posted on KZbin. It’s amazing to watch people debate without insulting and interrupting. Even William F Buckley, who could be condescending, still had an interesting variety of guests and subjects and overall reasonable conversations with those he disagreed with.
