I don't think those old canvas military tents were ever waterproof... But I wonder if about 4 cans or so of silicone spray sealer would help some.... The canvas would have to be dry to apply it... Beautiful spot you have there Val. Stay well my friend.

Val this was awesome, snows gone from here I think but great to see it up there with you as it made for an excellent video. I would imagine that life would revolve around that woodburning stove. Brilliant. Hopefully you're right about the canvas water proofing itself, I cant think of anything natural you could use, it's quite a big tent so using something like beeswax you would need a heck of a lot. Fantastic food you cooked there washed down nicely with that beer. Love the cat, is it yours? Cheers Bud, good series.

Yes, winter doesn't want to go away. That stove is brilliant, when there's -2 degrees outside, I have 22 inside with the door open. Yes, the cat is mine, keeps me company here 🙂. Cheers, Chris.
