No wonder so many people find life so hard, esp when we are not understood or understand ourselves. Thanks for being someone who does and shares it with us.

Thank you for touching on the autism spectrum. I’ve had that intuition for a long time but you are the first I hear that makes the link with INFJ

It makes sense as to why I've always struggled as a machine/production worker for the past 13 years. I am good at something if I am doing it many times over and am laser focused on minor details, but struggle when being told once and am expected to know it all because they've explained everything to me.

Thank you Lauren. The point about if our emotions aren't in it, we're out of it is such a huge element affecting every area of life and something I've struggled to understand and manage all my life. Looking forward to the in-depth coverage of this topic.

I'm an INFP. I will pick what cup or utensil I'm going to use based on how I feel. Lol Thank you so much for this video!

Its good to hear from someone who gets us. I have made it to late middle life living as conventionally as I could but its been difficult since I have a hard time focusing for very long on any one thing. I tried to determine if I was suffering from ADHD but if so its very mild and not impairing. But these last couple of videos from Lauren have been rich with this idea that we INFJs {and apparently INFPs as well} do not think or act in a strictly linear way. If its true that we think in a pattern more like a web then it makes sense that we would work and also create in that same web like way. I have spent hours upon hours doing tasks that are very linear and step by step. Its the most common kind of employment I would guess. You do a step by step task and your employer pays you. But I have often found it very hard to stay engaged with this type of work and to do it day after day without a shift in what I am doing. In my free time I tend to work on various tasks for as long or as little as I feel engaged. I get them all done but in my own manner and at my own pace. Much more satisfying but no pay.

Youre amazing for linking ADHD to INFPs and summarising the neurodiversity elements. So useful for me after over a year of daily self discovery, as a 30 year old female INFP with undiagnosed ADHD! THANK YOU ❤❤❤❤

I am definetely an INFJ, but I really have to question about being on the spectrum. I have been looking into autism for 3 months now, because a friend is making content on it. I do have some overlap, however I never had to mask to fit in, and my INFJ cameleon skills arent used as self protection. In fact, I don't have much problem saying if I don't want to do something. Also I can read social cues, and implied meanings (as most INFJs can). I don't have an issue with being overstimulated, etc. If I am on the spectrum, it feels like such a diagnosis would be academic.

Please note that some people can be a mixture of both ADHD and Autism (AuDHD) and the symptoms of one can mask or fight the symptoms of the other. There is a new test created primarily by people with Autism and it's about people who are Monotropic which is something that is true for many Autistic and also often ADHD people too. You can find other channels who talk about it and even go through the questionnaire. I actually think that it's not just INFJ'S and INFP'S that are Autistic or ADHD I actually think that there are others including ISTJ's and INTJ's that spring to mind when it comes to Neurodiversity to and likely most if not all of the personality types. I tend to think of personality types like a specific type of pasta machine and being neurotypical or being neurodiverse in whatever way as being the different kinds of pasta that goes through the pasta machine. So you can have the plain egg pasta that goes through the pasta rollers and becomes lasagne, you could have basil/spinach pasta that becomes fusilli, and tomato pasta that becomes Tagliatelle, even squid ink pasta that becomes Spaghetti. This is more just from observations from me watching neurodiverse people on KZbin. I'm not a scientist. Honestly I'm looking to get a diagnosis re both Autism and ADHD as, from the personal research I've done, it's the only thing that makes sense of my life long struggles. I do however already have a Dyslexic diagnosis from about 30 years ago.

ENFP’s totally have lack of focus too 😂🥳 we not only get super distracted by feelings intuitions and creativity but also by people!

I’m an INFJ. I also have troubles working and writing but it’s not due to lack of focus, boredom, or Adhd. The reasons are stress and overwhelmingness. Is that a personal issue or is it an INF’s quality?
@larungbatojutsu24273 ай бұрын
Could u describe what triggers the stress, if it's because the job keep throwing thing at u in a rate that is faster that u can handle or as if u wanted to scream, slow down and lemme handle things one time at a time. Then, it is an INF quality
@Mindsetolympics14 сағат бұрын
I can relate I get distracted because of stress and because I have too many ideas. It really helps to do therapy and to do journaling for me to help with the overwhelm also my feelings overwhelm me as well.

We can procrastinate but also become obsessed with a project passion seeking truth wisdom, again very contradictory but we wouldn't be infjs if we weren't i think back how weird i must have come across when i wasn't an aware awake infj and probably got triggered and in denial but once we are conscious of being pure consciousness Radiohead makes so much more sense 😇🙏♥️

I feel like I do better when instead of following a straight line, I follow my particular large s curl hair pattern 😆 🤔. I would love it if you would go into more depth about the connection between neurodivergence and our personality types. As a very left field side note, I’ve found a direct correlation between how blocked (and even completely shut down I can be) and when I went back on liver support supplements. Specifically sp livaplex. Just throwing this out there in case it’s helpful for anyone else. I feel like I can finally begin to be myself again and have the capacity to implement good suggestions 💜
