They have already called him a looney. You can't be impartial or bias in the court of LAW. Also that fact that Mr. Brooks is question that he has not been given a laptop can also hurt the case. Another thing that can also hurt the case is when Mr. Brook does cross examination they don't allow him to ask Question. If the State blocks Mr. Brooks witness this trial will be a mistrial. @edison700 Жыл бұрын
@@Menga213 Court cases use witness to identify people in court all the time. It's up to cross examination to put into doubt if the witness is truthful or not remembering things correctly, and the jury to decide the facts in the case. The problem Brooks has is there is so much video and picture evidence, all the witness are there to do is to confirm that the video is an accurate depiction of the events. They could have done this whole case without witnesses but they are playing it safe because brooks first claims are that the videos and pictures are either fake or not of him, So instead of leaving it up to the jury alone, they bring in witness to confirm what they saw, so now the jury has to choose that all the witness are untruthful and the videos aren't real or are hiding something, rather than the videos not telling an incomplete picture or being false somehow. Also like to add witness can and do show bias all the time. It's up to the lawyers to show that to the jury. The one's that must be impartial are the judges and jury. Each side can and do brings witness that are bias toward their side and it's under cross that you try to undermine that testimony. Good example is the amber heard trial, and she brought up that therapist witness with a bias against Depp, and Depp's lawyers under cross showed the bias and brought up another therapist witness that proved the bias and how he went against ethical codes he swore to upheld, making his testimony de-credited in the eyes of the jury. Both testimonies where allowed and the jury decided which one to believe base on facts they observed.

So, while I respect your comment, I do feel it was over the top in this case. Brooks has never had to face consequences for his actions and he and his mother still shout about how he wasn’t given the help he needed etc. It’s all nonsense. He was allowed to commit violent acts for years and wasn’t properly punished. Uses all his verbal gymnastics 'skills' to TRIP UP witnesses SEMANTICS- to somehow PROVE that because his appearance is different ( short hair vs long hair/ suit & tie instead of the grungy clothes he was wearing ) than at the time he committed his horrific crimes.
