I feel sick. I've stood on all the overlooks in Little River Canyon Park. I'm a little bit afraid of heights, so I always felt ill at ease when we'd stop at these overlooks, although the views were incredible! Knowing someone hated someone else so bad they'd push them to their death in this beautiful place makes me sad.

@@PeytonMead333 It was more that society was not educated around differences and that they were nothing to be feared by others - so they brought in "God" (something they knew) to calm their fears and make it easier to deal with. In many countries, children with disabilities are still hidden... many who dont even get euphemisms - only punishment as they are a burden to he family. It is a cruel world for many. Anyway, my comment was me thinking that maybe those in the jail were trying to say that she was intellectually disabled and therefore less responsible for her actions. Many people in jail come from poverty stricken and perhaps "backwoods" towns where these descriptions are still used.
