Sorry to here about your dad, lucky you were home, couldn’t imagine driving all that way with that on your mind ! Hope he’s doing good and looking forward to the trip back to Florida and picking up the car, that’s kinda cool

I lost my transmission coming onto that on ramp after you crossed into Ky where the construction work was. I drove back to Portland, Tn with 4th gear only and of course no reverse to add to the fun lol

It’s a good place to get started and build a reputation even though they keep 20% of the payout per load you ship. Not always the best pay but like I said it’s a great place to get the ball rolling! I believe truckstop.com is another good popular load board for freight hauling if you have a DOT# available and all that.

Did you watch the video tow piglet gave you a shoutout? What was the reasoning in leaving your truck in Florida? Seems like that took a good bit of profit out of that run.

Motofarm mx I did! And I wanted to be home with my family for our Thanksgiving dinner and surprise everyone who thought I couldn’t make it. Family is important to me and always takes priority over any of my work. I was glad I came home as my dad ended up in the hospital again with more heart problems and had to have another heart procedure done and I’m glad I was able to be there for that. Unfortunately yes, it cut into my profit a bit but to me it was worth it. I missed the first snow storm but we had a second one come in a day later so I was able to get some good hours in plowing snow for $25/hr so I was glad it snowed a bit more. Unfortunately I missed a few additional hours again as with my step dad in the hospital at the beginning of the snow storm I didn’t want to return to work yet but was just glad to get in the hours I was able to.
