Great update! Not a lot of modelers run their trains like you done here.Thanks for the treat, and for showing all those different camera angles! Love the garage area! is extremely well done.

Hi, great video, I just subscribed. I love the level of detail on your layout, especially the grass and foliage etc. Also the weathering you have done on everything looks fantastic! Looking forward to the next one! Cheers, Dan

Superb update, loving the garage + allotment area especially. I am also a big fan of the new class 85. I just saw the electric blue version with twin pans and its a very nice looker. Time to start saving up!

Excellent vid as always, loving the new scenery area at you signal box. Also like your idea to change the area to the left of your town scene, how youve got it now really opens up that area quite abit. Nice work keep em coming. Rob

you do very interesting reviews of ur layout, i have also brought the Bachmann Class 85 yes i totally agree with u very nicely produced with fine detail, the only disappointment for me is there is only 1 rear light working in either direction. excellent power

A tip for road markings that I use, cut strips of office paper in 2mm strips( OO 6') and glue onto surface, weather accordingly, saves on having that blobby hand painted look. By the way a great looking layout.

you have been a busy boy... i have to say the new extension area is looking very very realistic with fantastic detail added in. i agree with one of the other comments about needing a shunter,a class 03 or 08 shunter or two sitting in a siding would add that extra something to an already superb layout. other than that mate 5* all day long.

@EverardJunction the siding at the back of the car garage you could build something to load cars on and off and put some flatbeds in the siding and have classic cars loading on and off into the garage.

I like how you say that bits are 'quite good'. It sells the layout short! I've known quite a few people pick up the 85, even without OHLE on their layouts, like you say, because it's such an impressive model!

The best allotment scenes I have seen were by a lady at the Warley show, she makes fruit and veg from tissue paper using various paper stamps. I'm not sure if you have met her but she is always on one of the demo tables. It is very effective stuff

Just an idea....where you have the embankment for the motorway you could have lots of very small trees with the sort of plastic protecters they put round the base? If you know what i mean? Jason.

@soundseeker6312 жыл бұрын
I know it looks odd but that is actually accurate. From footage of the era (1980s) they only ever seemed to have 1 tail light on at a time. In any case it would only ever have been visible when the loco was running light engine or parked up.
