Lazer already is "completed" or at least it won't ever be more complete than it already is. The goal was to build a platform thats easier to maintain and extend by rewriting the original osu from scratch with it's own framework and they already achieved that. There will always be continuous updates, but it's already a complete package and feature parity with stable is also already 99% there, while at the same time offering many more features.

Hey Peppy in the renderer selection screen you should add a little "Benchmark" button that shows some gameplay and the Overall FPS at the end so people can have and Idea about which renderer works best in their devices without having to manually check by playing and checking the FPS at the same time.

Been enjoying lazer, the average hit error was really helpful when I was trying to go back into playing mania again. But I have this problem with the skin editor, it resizes the icons whenever the screen adjusts to gameplay "mode". This happens when I adjust things from the editor (square-esque aspect ratio) and then when I apply the changes and try it in game (full screen), every icon goes bigger or something, it really disrupts the setup I did from the layout editor. Since the UI have this spreading animation.

hello, i'm playing more of osu!lazer lately and i'm liking it, it feels better to play on lazer, but i was wondering (sorry if i'm a bit of an idiot with the following question), does setting a new top play on lazer count as a new top play in classic or do i need to set the new top play in classic as well? Please do something to make Mania playable on phones, the buttons are way too small and I cant hit 2 notes at the same time when they are right next to each other, not to mention the buttons are so small that I can't even hit individual notes 60 to 70% of the time.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but the new renderer change made my game really laggy when it automatically switched to DirectX. I had to turn it back to "OpenGL (legacy)" for it to stop lagging monstrously when decoding videos.

Yeah I noticed on this update the performance is better on mid tier 2021 phone. Although it's still not acceptable for competitive play but casual player like me is now much happier with it. Honestly I did not expect performance boost, but kudos to contributors who made it 👍

Can you make osu! remember what skin I am using for each gamemode ? Every time I change gamemode to osu mania i have to change skin because I prefer different skins for each gamemode

Those are some good updates but... Could osu make osulazermania be playable? I mean, is that hard increase the horizontal side of each key? At least for 4 key Literally you only can play with 2 fingers in tablet and 1 finger on mobile

Can you fix the alt + tab bug. It's like when you are on osu lazer and when u use alt + tab to return to osu lazer window, it just pitch black. I'm on windows 8.1

I don't play lazer because it has some issue with my tablet drivers. I use a gaomon S620, and the OpenTablet Driver. For whatever reason, my cursor will skip around a bit when moving at high velocities. For anything that isn't a stream map, this issue makes the game unplayable. It's probably an issue with the driver not being compatible with lazer (rather than the other way around), but I figured it worth mentioning.
