Congratulations! I love it when I hear people expanding past their "limits" and experiencing personal progression. That's what it's ALL about. Its not about being better than someone else but being better than you where. In my experience getting past one obstacle inspires you to push yourself harder to achieve more... Congratulations on starting that journey!

I have been watching so many of your videos and they all have helped me be safe and remain uninjured when I train. Thank you so much for what you do! I have to say the detailed vocal instruction followed by the multiple camera angles of performing each vault is VERY effective, and I really like that format! Keep up the great work!

jesse your tutorials are great! yet i never were able to do a good speed vault but with your explanation i could do lazy and thief vault right away first time i tried them. keep that great work up man! i'd love to see a gainer tuorial...

@LaFlairParkour I love it, especially how each video you always experiment with different effects. It's parkour, It's art, why shouldn't you be artistic in your vids? Keep up the great work!

@maxorzoom3 I don't think I ever said you couldn't learn it without the knowledge of those two moves but what I ment was both of those tutorials will give you a much better understanding of the movement in and out because I did not have the time to make this tut as detailed as I would have liked. But I do believe that if you do know how to do a speed and dash this move should be as easy as 1, 2, 3.
@TheProdigyGFX12 жыл бұрын
This tut was so helpful! I done the Thief vault with ease, but I found it harder to do the lazy, but hopefully I will get used to it! :D

Jesse, I'm a beginner at parkour, and I want to start trying out some movements, but I don't think I can just go up to any building and start jumping around. Are you taking a legal risk every time you do parkour? Or are there certain places that you should avoid or look for?

Hi Jesse, can I just say thank you. The other day I tried a wallrun and smashed my face off the wall at home, then I came on here, and saw some of your videos. Now, I'm about 5'11 and weigh about 200lbs, so I'm not exactly a perfect fit, but thanks to your vids, today I managed to climbup and wallrun a 9ft wall. Might not sound much to some people, but to me, that was the happiest moment of my summer. I also managed to do a thief vault, speed vault and a dash vault on my garden wall. Thank you

Actually, it is advantageous to learnboth ways/sides to doing EVERYTHING in parkour. Now, I can't say I have both sides on all the techniques myself, but it is something I continue to work on and it is something I believe everyone should do when training. Learning and being able to do a move from both sides can be very useful and is especially so when you are needing to continuously flow through a varied and possibly completely new environment, and the same goes for rolls as well.Happy training!

I have a question : should i learn doing anything in parkour both ways? like with those vaults a can do them in one way but its wired when i try to come the other way, its like writing with the other hand that am use to write.hope you understand what i am trying to say...as i see it i am pretty sure i should learn any trick both ways (except the role obviously ) but you know, just asking maybe you can tell me something about it:)

Hey just a quick question, I used to do lazy vaults with the inside leg leading, but I've been told numerous times that leading with the outside leg (thief vault) is actually more controlled, this true? I've found it a bit more controlled, but I've progressed quite allot since my last lazy with the inside leg leading.

I have slightly modified lazy and thief vaults. Instead of putting my second hand down at the end, I just continue on my inside hand. This is a lot easier, without losing much stability or power. It is good for progressions, and, if needed, it can turn a lazy or thief vault into a turn vault. Just thought I'd try to help anyone having difficulties.
