@Ashlar Reece i have seen most of davies videos for around a year and a lot more . been subbed to him for a long time . yes his solos are amazing . what im trying to say though is that if a band has only one bassist and the bassist is playing the solo the groove is kind of lost . i feel like the job of the bass is to support the melody instrument and not just take over the solos . bassists have one of the most important roles in a band but i dont think that role is soloing . you have your opinions though

I agree with you. Rest, Repose's original line-up was fire!!! However tho, I understand that sometimes, in order to continue, bands need to change. The bad thing here is that Rest, Repose is not a thing anymore, I guess. Now Fluff and Anthony are taking care of Dragged Under. Imo, I think R,r had a more unique and original song. Vince's voice and melody lines, with Fluff, Anthony and "JOOOOOOooooOoOOOooSH" smashing those riffs and Jared hammering down the drums. Their first EP is, to me, one of the best EPs to ever come out.
