To lead "well", people should stop reading garbage business books, and should instead focus on reading real books. For example, books about control theory, hierarchical systems, system dynamics, statistical process control theory, theory ov variation, design of experiments, systems approach, theory of constraints, behaviorismus, human motivation theories ( specifically expectancy theory), goal setting, etc. We are talking here about years of reading, just to become a half decent manager. If you never heard about these, you will never ever lead "well". The best example are the countless "sales managers" who slowly kill their companies, by making people accountable for things they can't control, and then hiring & firing them for that. The current education levle and general knowledge about management, is at the level of 15th century.
