Yes, I will be continuing with this course, in fact there will be a new lesson tomorrow. The last two weeks have been difficult in our city with flooding and now a cyclone/hurricane so haven't been able to record myself for the video.

I'd say: I'm from London. I know in Spanish you might say "Santiaguino" for someone from Santiago, but we rarely use that structure in English. We would naturally say: He's from Santiago or London or wherever.
