The book that I am reading has a wide range vocabulary. I used to read this book about 40 years ago. Its Hungarian translation appeared and everybody read it. I thought that high time that I read it in English as it was so easy to read. After buying it I received about one week later a letter from Amazon they asked me how much I liked the book. I answered them that I didn't finish to read it as I remembered that it used to be an easy book but I could read it very slowly. The book seems to me better when I used to read its Hungarian translation. I enjoy it, the words can put into three groups.1. Words which I immediately know, which I am familiar 2. in the other group words which I have never used but I recognize their meaning from the context as I met them earlier and 3.in the third is the group the words - chiefly adjectives which describe people and situations. I realized that I have a gap of descriptive adjectives. The lead hero an old man in an old pensioner who isn't like the other old men and women, he has arthritis which hinders him in moving and it disturbs him very much. in his soul, he is the same man who ever used to be and a young nurse tells him a doctor on the west coast of the US. The book is about his journey he wants to see this doctor even he has to across the US without money. I read a half of the book but he didn't leave the home yet. Yes, I know he will leave, I remember but it is very interesting the other old people's and the owners' approach to his decision. The book's title: "The Journey of Simon McKeever" writer: Albert Maltz. Really I don't remember the end but I don't want to see it. As not the end interesting but the way how he achieves his aim. I am looking forward to meeting Simon McKever when I read a book it's like a friend and he gave me peace and calmness. He is a man who what he decided nobody could talk him out of it. He has a very sovereign personality and the writer describes his thoughts and I agree with him but I could not draw up so beautifully. That's why enjoy it. I marked some paragraph. One of them when two pensioners gave him some cents. He didn't want to accept. What happens is I can't come back? But they convinced him to accept it. MeKeavers says: "Oh, I tell you there is a lot of brotherhood in the world, I've always known it, it makes up for the bad" He fished in his pocket and took out a little notebook and a stubble of pencil. he found a clean page, moistened the pencil point with his lips.My debts! I'm writing them down...twenty-three cents to Percy Fuller; sixty-one cents to Marcus Peak."
