A beautiful move. Especially for us old guys. Love the detail about keeping on your toes not knees. A golden rule for pressure. Thanks Coach!

Watch Charles Oliveira finish Dustin Porier. Also, the beginning of Jon Jones and Shogun. Beautiful duck unders. You could theoretically build an entire game plan based on the duck under if your opponent over commits on hooks or over hand punches.

This! I've been looking for a video you did a while back, where you where showing a variant done by a top high school wrestler I believe. Can anyone link me to that video? I've been looking for months to find it. Grappling isn't something I'm super familiar in, so remembering all the names has been the hardest part when I see a cool video.

Being a tiny guy, I love adding tons of pressure. People say it comes from Judo, but wrestling has it too...

Thank you coach. So in which situation should we use a High crotch, which situatuon should we use a duck under? They both start like the same, thank you

If you have a free shooting hand, go for the High-C. If you take a solid grip, duck. Its really up to the individual and situation. 🤙

Is there a solo drill for this

Tie a rope stand to the left, go forward and under the rope to the right, then to to left again etc. Not very realistic, but good for hip mobility if you need it.

Interesting how he calls BOTH steps outside steps. I’m a boxer, so that 1st step he did is considered inside…if the opponent is fighting orthodox or neutral. Good teacher tho as he’s all about the detail. Esp the part why you don’t (counters).
