Render Elements should be on top of the list

- render elements - scattering with offset, negative and positive, from face edges (so you can scatter detail grass on edges only) - water on path tracing - decals on path tracing - simple fur, like Lumion - edge softening on texture, so we don't have to bevel the geometry - dirt on edges

Great content once again! My question, honestly, would’ve been “why TM and not Unreal 5?”. I really hope UE remains accessible as it is at the moment, regarding software licensing. I imagine most designers and architects don’t have the time to tinker with a more complex, open platform, but it can be an incredibly valuable tool. Having watched Sam’s recent presentation on UE5 for Archviz, I trust the continued support for years to come. Especially excited about the upcoming Datasmith improvements! Valeu, Oliver 👍

12:46 Light becomes more integrated in your design process also you can make constant minute adjustments without much cost to your rendering time (because you just rerender and a few minutes later you have 20 images).

Why Twinmotion over Lumion? Would you really like the cost of visualising software to be ANOTHER limiting factor when it comes to design? The more your overheads cost, the less time you will have for design.

Great video as usual! I agree that TM's place doesn't really need to be "final submission" quality and that's fine. It excels at getting scenes together really quickly that look decent which in my personal opinion is absolutely fine for an Architect. We're not always a "Visualiser" or "3d Artist" but a quick and simple TM model may be enough to get our ideas through for design reviews, creativity workshops and even client presentations. Why invest so many resources at getting images to be "perfect" with post production and software that is very complex for tasks that don't require it. Don't get me wrong, there will always be instances where a "wow factor" rendering or even flythrough video will be required for a competitions etc..

Hey JCarlos C, it was because there wasn't good footage from Archicad available. Since Achicad and Revit fall in the same software category (BIM) and the datasmith link works just the same on both programs, I thought it'd be alright to use Revit footage to show how BIM works with Twinmotion.

render elements, in my opinion, should not even be a priority to epicgames. There is a LOT to work on in twinmotion, and I wish Epic would focus on the render outputs. Would it not be better to NOT encroach in on another software's capabilities, it is rather like having an unfair competition....
