Leave Your Arms Behind You

Sometimes, 2 things cannot happen simultaneously. In this case, you cannot lead your downswing with your core and have your arms extended in front of your chest at impact. The more that your body leads the swing, the more that your arms will be delaying the timing of when they extend.

I find this confusing with the advice that you should keep you back to the target when starting the downswing but be open with the cheast at impact

Yes it is confusing I agree. Some instructors want you to fire the arms early and some like this one want the arms passive. Tiger did say stop watching KZbin! Maybe he was right.
