The story about her flashing people, and him always waking her up. Sleep deprivation is actually a torture tactic. It can make you lose your mind, and abusers have used sleep deprivation as a tactic to break down their victims.

Apparently it's ok if to defend cheaters nowadays. I don't agree withe everything the husband did but she's using the same excuses cheaters use. Oh I was drunk it was a mistake🙄. The same BS I wrote this comment before I heard the update. The husband definitely went way to far and she should definitely leave him.

@@UNITED-STATES-OF-MURICA140 even before the update, and i’m not defending her flashing his friends, how is anything what he did justified? in the story beforehand the girl breaks up with her boyfriend for cheating because the trust was gone. thats the correct response to losing your trust in your partner when they cheat, not asking them to do labor for you and waking them up in the middle of the night screaming at them.
@victorywalkingtours8843

@UNITED-STATES-OF-MURICA140 JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. This comment is literally fucking insane. Even before the update, WTF is wrong with you. In NO WAY is she excused for what she did. But if your spouse crosses a boundary or actually cheats, you have conversations and if you can't live with/trust them, you break up. You don't give them a shit ton of abusive punishments. If my husband cheated I would get a divorce, not come up with psycho ways to punishment him. This is such a bizarre take.

@@UNITED-STATES-OF-MURICA140 but she didn't cheat... There was nothing sexual about her actions. She was drunk and thought she would stick to to them for being obnoxious towards her. She has absolutely no intention of making it sexual in any way. They did. Was she stupid? Yes. Was she not classy? Yes. Was she a cheater? No. She didn't engage in any sexual behavior. You go to many countries in Europe and women walk on beaches with no tops and it's not sexual or cheating.

I've paused story 3 just to write this. As someone who is 2 years free from a 17 yr abusive relationship with a narcissist, i can tell you right now, why, you flashed his friends. He has been controlling you in small ways and picking on you and stifiling you, that in your tipsy state, you had a rebelous moment that you knew would piss him off but felt like feeling free again. Even if for a moment. Adding, the rule about unfollowing his friends is an ISOLATION tactic.

@ivorellarackley4401 Honestly, may be a bit of a stretch, but i think cheating especially unprotected should be a $3x crime because you are exposing your partner to someone else's genitalia without their consent! They only agreed to be exposed to their partner's at the time of being together, not some other tramps.

Also it sounds like his friends were acting disrespectful and it makes me wonder if they always treated her this way and in a drunk moment she finally lost her patience with them, also judging by their response to her posts which is very telling yes they too disrespected her and enabled her abuser.

@ Humm sounds like an excuse. That could be true but flashing is still not cool . I could see slapping one of the friends for being rude but literally showing your boobs to people who are disrespecting you does not make sense. He is veryyy very wrong for how he reacted.

@nikeajah318 i mean totally weird response for sure but the way husband escalated I think this was all meant to happen! But instead he went nuclear!

@@ashdddwhile I agree that we (everyone commenting) see boobs as boob, I dont think most men see boobs as something not sexual. I definitely would feel some type of way if my partner flashed anyone period and any excuse made is just an excuse but OP did go through with every things the partner asked past the crazy crap. Story five, I don’t believe the OP‘s boyfriend has been faithful this whole time since his entire friend group is consistently unfaithful. @juliastepanets
@juliastepanets 20 сағат бұрын
My husband has some unloyal friends. When their cheating side is being discussed, he always tells them how fucked up it is and that they’re disgusting. But they don’t usually talk about girls, there’s a lot of other things he’s interested about and can discuss it with them. I honestly don’t know and don’t care if my girl friends are cheaters, as long as they’re loyal to me. And they are, so are my husband’s friends.

Flashing boobs is a break in respect of not only their relationship but a violation of trust in the other peoples relationship that were witnesses to the flash. It’s very much NOT ok. With all of that said the husbands reaction is abusive. Point blank. Divorce is a must and honestly she should press charges.
@jaylynn8630
@jaylynn8630 12 сағат бұрын
How is it a violation of trust in the other people's relationships? That would imply that for them to witness someone unexpectedly flashing them was a betrayal of their partners, which is a little crazy. It's not a violation of trust unless it's something you CHOSE to do. As for it being a break in the respect of their relationship, I think that really depends on the context/intention. I would not, for example, consider going to a nude or topless beach a break in the respect of a relationship (unless it was something you both very specifically agreed not to do), because the situation is not meant to be sexual. And on the other side of the coin, you could disrespect a relationship enormously with only words while 100% covered from head to toe.

Anybody who’s willing to cover up cheating for someone else will use them to cover up cheating on you. The idea that OP was the other woman in a previous relationship unwittingly is now helping a man who is hurting his wife the same that way she was hurt and has now internalized it as her fault somehow??? is really upsetting to me. I would’ve broken up with my boyfriend the second he told me his friends did this, and then sent any evidence I had to the girls

She just sits there and quietly "listens" and does other things... sometimes I don't even realize it's been 3 hours of me just blabbering, and I DON'T realize or think it's annoying. People have their own opinions and I’ve noticed that Morgan and Justin are more open in their relationship which is 100% fine because they both are on the same page but I just want to reiterate that if you aren’t comfortable with somebody doing this or any other form of crossing boundaries you’re 100% in the right to leave. @ definition for tipsy: slightly drunk. That’s why she clearly clarified that she was not drunk but tipsy. She clearly recalls everything that happened. She realized what she had done as soon as she did it that’s why she ran to her room. I’m not saying she deserves to get name called, hit, and everything else her husband did to her. I’m not sure why you’re so bothered. I am on her side on this. He didn’t deserve her at the end of the day. All I’m doing is clarifying to the girlies or the men that it is okay to have boundaries that other people might consider dramatic. This world is so diverse not everybody will be the same.

the flashing incident was not cheating. Certainly inappropriate but not cheating. And also, she needs to go to the police. This is a very violent person. And his friends getting mad about you airing his dirty laundry? Sounds like they support beating their significant others if they step out of line

Story 1: from the UK and had no idea Brooklyn was considered a mainly girl name. Victoria and David Beckhams son is called Brooklyn and its always seemed fine as a gender neutral one. Obviously if the parents don't want you calling their kid anything you should respect it, but that wasn't as much of a confusing match of names to me

My former step- great grandma told my mom she didn't like my name and wouldn't call me it. She only called me Jordy and my mom hated it. She said Jordan was a boys name and tried to force a nickname. It was a whole thing. I had a lot of name insecurity as kid and took me a long time to love my name

For story four, even if the couples dynamic /had/ resembled that of a little/caretaker situation, the mother would still be in the wrong. She has no right to enter their private space in the middle of the night and then tell them what's appropriate or not. Like I don't care if the fiance had a damn bib on at that point, YTA!

Does anyone else hate the girl from the 6th story, she really comes off as that one friend who you hate hang around because she always is talking about her cheating ex but won't leave, and defaults to "he'll change, I love him too much" like have some self respect it's just so embarrassing😅

this might be a hot take but for story 4 i feel like her posting that was a MUCH worse idea than it seemed. the comments all talking about how she’s jealous and weird with her son will only make her hate the fiancé more, hence her sudden comments about her “leeching” off him. they will most likely have a worse off relationship now unfortunately.

Yea that’s vile with the grandma calling the kid the girl version of the name. I agree that nicknames are pretty normal but it’s not like the opposite sex version of their own name, that’s too much. I remember being like 10 and calling my cousin “Samuel” instead of “Samantha” to irk her. Everyone got mad about that, especially her mother 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I wasn’t a grown woman lol. I’d definitely start calling her “grandpa” instead lmao.

The closest thing to the word ur looking for that means "blessing in disguise" is "serendipity" but it doesn't mean a bad situation was the precursor... how is there no word for it?? Edit: I think I found one. The word "eucatastrophe" was coined by the legendary author J.R.R. Tolkien, famous for The Lord of the Rings. It’s a combination of the Greek prefix "eu-", meaning "good" or "pleasant," and "catastrophe," which typically signifies a sudden disaster. Together, it creates the idea of a sudden, unexpected turn of events that transforms what seems like a dire or catastrophic situation into a positive and hopeful outcome.
