I'd much rather have a Trump DeSantis ticket in 2024 so DeSantis has 4yrs to learn the ropes of the Executive branch while Trump has 4yrs to finish a lot of what he started then DeSantis has 8yrs after that to continue draining the swamp. Not to mention how fantastically beautiful she is - we'd have a hell of a 4-8 years with Tulsi in the Presidency and that's the one thing that bums me out about her leaving - she was, literally, the only democrat that I've seen saying or doing anything RIGHT and standing up for herself and others and standing with her morals and principles - no other democrat comes to mind... in fact, the opposite comes to mind when it comes to the democratic party. She's the only democrat I would have voted for and I would 100% take her over every other candidate in any other party. But at the same time, I know that her staying and running in the democratic party wouldn't have worked out for her - she wasn't allowed to get far last election and I can't see why that would change at all with this upcoming election - or any elections in the near future, given how much the democrats are regressing. I would also hope that whenever we do get our "first female President" that it's this woman, right here.

I don’t believe running in the Republican Party will do her much good either. It will delegitimize a lot of her previous stances and she’s only just begun signaling to the right in the past year so her following is way more strongly rooted in dem/ind crowds at the moment if I’m a betting woman. We need more independents in local races as well as the house and senate to move the needle and chip away at the oligopoly/duopoly hold on our government. A third party won’t spring up over night.
