Not many companies have integrity these days - or 'intellectual honesty' as you put it. Mad respect, Gregory. As an American, Rogue is what I have been using, and they have the arm pockets - very cool to see where that design choice came from! Though, I have yet to try a hollow-core, which might just be the next one I get! Granted, I'm not a professional kettlebell athlete, but I have been using kettlebells as my main workout equipment for the last 5 years. I'm looking forward to seeing what the collaboration brings! ♡

I've had my set of seven pro kettlebells for about two years now. I got in when they initially launched. I've also got the magnetic inserts which really help for bridging the gap. I had a minor issue with my 20 kg kettlebell and I talked to Nikolai directly and I can say that the customer service level was above and beyond. It was a very similar instance to what you talked about where it wasn't his fault yet he still took accountability and corrected the problem. I'm currently working through "90 gaines of kettlebells" and I can tell you that these are great for it.

Your transparency is refreshing. I stumbled across your page while searching for kettlebell exercises to prevent knee pain. I've used kettlebells but not in a manner the manner by which I've seen on your channel. I only used it for squats and the swing, however, I quickly understood that I wasn't properly breathing nor getting the best out of deadlifts. I'm learning the snatch, the proper way to goblet squat and more. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide corrections and training. Within the next few weeks I will hopefully learn the techniques better. I'm excited. May the Lord continue to bless you in all areas of your life and business!!!!☺Also shot out to Angie, I did her 15 minute workout this morning and I was drenched!!!❤❤

I thought a benefit of competition kettlebells was that they are supposed to be the same size. I didn't realise that was only across a design/family/brand. Can a competition use any "competition" kettlebell or do they have to use a specific "competition kettlebell" competition kettlebell to a standard regulation to weed out the dodgier bells? If there's no definition of radius, material, coating, hollow/not, outer pockets/not then you're not as different from hardstyle bells as typically claimed.
@ProKettlebellWorkouts3 ай бұрын
Some organizations have contracts with manufacturers to force athletes to buy their equipment. I disagree with this strategy as it stagnated growth for a long time. I prefer Denis Vasilev 's IKO World League, where there are bell specs that must be adhered to, but brand doesn't matter. I love to go head to head with other kettlebells. @ProKettlebellWorkouts3 ай бұрын
These kettlebells are amazing for fitness and kettlebell sport, but I did not design them for juggling. For juggling, I would want to keep the center of mass as close to the center of the bell as possible so the bell would spin easily. Also, I would close the bottom and make the contours less aggressive . Unfortunately, if you want a product to excel in certain areas, it has to be specialized . If juggling gains in popularity, I may design a special bell for it, but currently, it's a pretty narrow demographic

@@Isaiah-ft5nx You are not arguing against me, you are arguing against physics. Mass determines weight, this is physics 101. Mass distribution may make the bell feel unbalanced but it will always be the same weight.
@MultiJessy313 ай бұрын
@anthonycraig274 if a 5kg piece of weight inside a 10 kg bell becomes weightless at the apex of the weight and then, upon reversal "falls" and impacts the side the energy must equal mass. "Unbalanced" is another way of saying momentum or energy of the pieces inside are adding mass through motion at different points throughout the trajectory. The overall bell still weighs 10kgs at rest. When you add energy into the system that 5 kgs is free to tumble about, converting energy from motion into weight through the motion. When not broken the 5 kg piece is not free to move about. Energy = mass. That is physics.

The differences in size are a benefit, not a detraction. Picking odd objects of various sizes, shapes, and weights is a great thing to do. Comp bellers live in a pretend land and they like to lift 10kgs 100 times and pretend they are strong. Do pick up a heavy stone and carry and squat it. Press it overhead. Let's see how your goofy comp style rack position benefits real world strength. It doesn't.
@lebe-stark3 ай бұрын
Two things can be beneficial at the same time: Lifting awkward objects and using tools with well designed ergonomics.

Uniform size allows the technique to remain consistent. This is especially important when competitive lifting is happening.

@ProKettlebellWorkouts My point isn't about Girya Sport. Nobody cares about GS except people who do GS. I am talking about the benefits of various sizes, and even objects and implements, in a quality general strength and conditioning program. Not everyone who uses kettlebells gives a shit about Girya Sport. While I respect the ability to throw that many reps up in say 10 mins, the technique itself doesn't benefit anything. You would never hold or carry a real world object with that goofy GS kyphosis rack position, for example. Pro Kettlebells have a really good reputation online and if they were easier to get in Canada I would buy a few, but I do value going between various cast iron sizes, heavy sandbags, stones, barbell, etc
@utubepunk3 ай бұрын
@@jasonwelsh417 I don't think anyone here is saying you can't pick up objects of various size and carry and squat it if you use pro-kettlebells. It's good to have variety, like the sandbags, stones, etc that you mentioned. You brought up the rack position and has someone who has been doing kettlebells for around 4 to 5 years, never once did I learn that the rack position was meant for building strength. I was always taught it was a transition position and used for momentary rest before continuing on. Too bad you can't get them easily in Canada. I thought the US and Canada had some kind of trade deal to facilitate this kind of commerce but stuff like that is over my head.
