With out any doubt as an ex teacher, lecturer, trainer, last year age 70 started to get fit again (as prescribed a CPAP mask for Sleep Apnoea, this month told no need to use) losing 32kg from 122kg, most days spend about 2 hours on various exercises burning about 800kcals. Now retired have watched a great deal of exercising KZbins, in all ways this the BEST one. You don't waffle, you don't show off and no annoying very long adverts in fact I can't record you had one for this KZbin. You also don't rush and make very clear your explanation, i.e the use of the wooden stick was excellent pedagogy use. I for one one will certainly be subscribing and will now watch more.

Great tutorial. Thank you so much. I learned a lot. I like to also add three mistakes many of us newbies make when starting something new and exciting. Firstly, we start training a technique or movement befire we know how to properly do said technique or movement. First learn the technique with a light or no weight before you start training. Bad technique can lead to preventable injuries. The second ties into the first. That's being in a hurry to train before knowing how to do and exercise or movement or do too many exercises in the beginning. This ultimately leads to an injury. Which thirdly leads into my last mistake for us newbies, be okay with staying with the basics for an extended amount of time. Be okay with the the two hand swing, then one hand swing to the one hand switch to the two bell swing. It may be months or over a year(s) to run through all the progressions. from Get your foundation right and with knowledge, patience, proper technique, and consistency, you will be amazed at just how far you have come and the things you can safely do with the bell in due time.

This video is amazing! Thank you! The way I have gone to traditional kettlebell gyms in the past, and they (the trainers) have pushed me into ruining my lower back so much that the chiropractor said either I stop kettlebells or my lower back will be damaged indefinitely…. Showed me that while training with them, I was using a too heavy kettlebell, with improper swings technique, and no one cared 😢 thank you for this video and promoting good technique and instruction above all else

Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬! Stumbled upon your channel a couple of months ago, and following. Am so very thankful for you. I'm a 62 year old breast cancer survivor - undergone a right axillary clearance, chemo, radiotherapy and currently hormonal therapy. I've bought 3 kettlebells (4/8/12kg) and been working faithfully in your follow-along for beginners. Feeling stronger with every passing day 💪 Is it ok to do my cleans & presses with 4kg instead of 8kg, for fear of triggering arm lymphedema due to my axillary clearance? Any advice? Many thanks and gratitude ❤

Hi Lebe / or (anyone else's opinion) , I've been viewing you videos on YT as I would like to incorporate KB's in my training I'm a 60 year old male. I have always maintained a healthy exercise regimen mostly proficient in calisthenics. push ups pull ups squats what are your thoughts on starting with doubles I have smaller frame 5'9 145 lbs and was thinking of going with the atlas version from pro kettlebell 12KG I would like to get a heavier one once my body adapts eventually for squats , swings, dead lifts, farmer carries I don't aspire to chase higher weights I think a 20kg would be sufficient and the heaviest I would ever need to go. I'm a hard gainer with regards to weight so I will probably always hover in that weight class what are your thoughts ? I've always trained for longevity and consistency is my goal DO you think double 12kg and 20kg is a good plan or do you think 12kg 16g and the 20kg is a better approach

Thank you sir for this video! I have noticed that many serious kettlebell users, as yourself, are super skinny with little muscle mass. Please don't get me wrong, I bet you are stronger than me, but why is it that little muscle mass is developed? It then seems kettlebell is really for strength building? Am I correct? Thanks
@lebe-stark Жыл бұрын
I consider myself an athletic build with a normal BMI, but I understand that compared to many (sometimes, chemically enhanced KZbinrs), this looks skinny. lol Kettlebells build everything in a well rounded manner. Bodybuilding with max. hypertrophy is not one of its core tenets (although you can use it in this manner).
