@amantethelegend80673 жыл бұрын
What? You do realize curry is a perimeter player right? And Rudy is a rim protector? What logic is this? And even when curry was repeatedly forced off the 3pt line by royce and chose to drive, when he saw rudy he chose to pass. There was no cooking. Curry vs rudy isn't even a proper matchup.
@lukajr113 жыл бұрын
@@amantethelegend8067 and do you realize that GS will try to force that miss match? They are going to play the pick and roll with the guy Gobert is defending, if Rudy doesn't step up, Curry will have some open threes, and if Rudy steps up, Steph is way quicker. Even if Curry doesn't find a good look, Gobert won't be in the paint, and that is what you want when you play against Utah. The Jazz will have to think about something if GSW beats Memphis
@amantethelegend80673 жыл бұрын
@@lukajr11 i mean you made it seem like some Jordan vs Gary Payton match up. Also rudy handled the curry screen very well most of the time. He had to make sure he was in the way long enough for royce to recover and it was fine most of the time. Yes curry is faster but rudy takes long strides and has long arms. You don't want to try and blow by him on a consistent basis, he recovers very well. However that last part is right, rudy won't be in the paint which can be a major Problem if not handled correctly. They'll have to cut some screens off maybe or just force a pass in general.

@@user-bm9cv9vn2k in their defensive primes he might be better defender than kawhi was, he’s more versatile, better at being a rim protector, and maybe a better team defender. That’s not to take away from kawhi, it’s just how great draymond really is on defense. Right now I don’t think there’s a discussion, kawhi hasn’t been the same on d since his injury, plus he has a huge load on offense. why does it seem like every time there’s a player with minutes restrictions the team never plan them to play the end of the game. I remember this with zion Jordan and now lebron
@shivanshgupta16763 жыл бұрын
Cause at the end of the game the adrenaline kicks in and youd over work your body in the heat of the moment as compared to the starting of the 4th when you're preserving yourself for the end of the game. So that increases chances of injury cause defenders also become reckless towards the end. Plus if it's a close game by the end of the 3rd quarter then, if you dont play lebron or jordan, then probably the other team will anywya run away with the lead, so no point subbing lebron at the end and load him up with additional responsibility when he has just come back from an injury.
