One thing I a say for myself and my digestive system, black beans, as much as I love them, make me feel horrible after eating two servings. My respiratory functioning/ ability to breathe easy (non voluntarily) becomes super stressed after 2 servings of eating black beans.

What about chia seeds? Just learned that they have high amount of lectins (not sure if that was correct info). Does soaking help reduce it even if we don't throw away the soaking water? (It forms a gel so not possible to throw away the soaking water)

If you don't throw the water you are not reducing lectins. Simple as.

Dr Gundry suggest basil seeds. They swell up more quickly and have no lectins

Yes soaking does and probably even better if it’s soaked with kefir or yogurt

12 months x $21 = $252 $260 billed annually? Or $29/mo x 12 mo = $348. Still, a great savings for this Dr's generous and excellent presentations. I've been looking for a Naturopath since mine retired last year. I'm lost without him.

So how come the people that live the longest eat BEANS daily? So I'm supposed to give up my red and black beans per day,? Others say beans are good for us. What's the real story as I eat 1 can of black beans or red beans a day.

That is a myth .. blue zones are based on correct data 👎
@dreamlife808
@dreamlife808 23 күн бұрын
The blue zones documentary has been debunked. If you search on KZbin, you will find out about the actual research. Also search Ancel Keys and his biased papers influenced the FDA. Also note that Hong Kong...never mentioned in Blue Zones has life expectancy of 85...higher than 98% of the world...why? They eat meat and eggs and fermented foods every single day. No beans. India? 75 year life expectancy...main diet? Beans/legumes and very little meat and obviously no beef. They also have high diabetes rates and many illnesses mentioned here.

Actually, I make a food powder out of dried soy beans. I bake them for about 20 mins first. Then I use a blender to turn it into flour. But this video has me questioning if my body is processing it right. I get brain fog towards the end of a long work day and always thought that's just how things work as you get older. Hmmm

@plantstho6599 at an educated guess I'd say far more animal lives are ended for your diet than mine.
@plantstho6599
@plantstho6599 19 күн бұрын
 false. 70% of corn and grain harvested goes to feed livestock, not humans. So you're actually consuming more animals than just the ones on your plate. There is no valid argument against a vegan diet.

CLICK-BAIT!! Assuming that people eat legumes raw, telling them how bad it is for the body. Only to end the video by stating the OBVIOUS; you have to PREPARE your legumes accordingly!
@chinookvalley

Sprouting or fermenting is using them raw. People do have problems if they don't prepare them correctly.
@ellensovlange
@ellensovlange 23 күн бұрын
@@chinookvalley Sprouting and vermenting is not using/eating them raw; it is to prepare the food accordingly! When food is sprouted and vermented, chemical interactions occur that changes the structure of the components involved, hence making it eadible for human beings. This is WHY we "cook" our food. I guess the reason for this video is to inform people that do not know better. For those of us that DO know better, this is a click bait video. He is creating a problem that doesn't exist, relying on viewer ignorance, just to state the obvious facts at the end. Especially "people that don't prepare them correctly", would have more help from a cooking video showing you HOW to do it. Now, please, don't let my educated opinion change your subscriptions. Thanks for the comment!

Who the xxxx eats uncooked beans except maybe for birds? Beans are healthy if prepared correctly and not many things are easier than xxxxxxx boiling water and adding the beans. Seems someone is trying to stir the pot on this issue...does click bait pay so well?

i am b and i am literally eating meal consisting beans and tomato puree and maybe other source of lectins during watching this video. i consider legumes healthy and underrated. if people would eat more of them, as they did during whole history, they would benefit from it. but it depends which and how you prepare them, how do you combine them in meal etc. important part of human nutrition is hacking such things as most of things are to certain point harmful but people learnt to use them, respectively found out how to prepare it, which herbs and spices to use etc. to eliminate their harmful effect as much as possible. btw just using black pepper can eliminate tonne of problems. but black pepper is so common that few people can understand that (but ayurveda definitely does as they use black pepper and fresh ginger almost in any recipe)...

Is it the same with Vitiligo ?
@giovannavazquez4758
@giovannavazquez4758 19 сағат бұрын
Yes, it is. I'm not a doctor but I've read a lot about it and through my research I've found out that what we eat and how we eat it definitely affects. So if you have it, avoid that kind of food, take suplements such as zinc, vit D3 + K, vit C and try to expose those depigmented áreas to the sun in appropiate hours. Helps a lot. Good luck!
