Sorry, here's my obligatory "please review the Japanese Ganbare Goemon PS1 games" comment I always make, Jimmy Hapa Import Gaming FTW is actually doing a giveaway on one, Oedodaikaiten, at the moment. You like Guardian Heroes, have you tried the Japanese PS1 rip-off Panzer Bandit? It's actually a very good rip-off, much more fast paced and a lot less story, but it's a great game no matter what. As for PC Engine non shooters, how about Momotarou Katsugeki, it's an interesting platformer. Son Son II is a platformer I really like on the PC Engine. But you HAVE to check out Obocchama Kun, it is the weirdest game, it's a platformer but it's bizarre, instead of ducking when pressing down, you turn into a dog, just play it, it's absurd. Oh, and did you ever get around to reviewing Super Tempo on Saturn? I think it's a very fun game, but not for the price.

19:47 The Formation option here is vague, but it determines the AI of your partners. I believe sending them up front makes them more aggressive while in the back they are more passive and some times use their guns. You can actually alter this on the fly either by the Start button or Select, I forget which. 20:16 There is an explanation here, but as I'm sure you've encountered, Transformers Takara (a name used to differentiate it from the One based on the Armada Series) is incredibly vague and generally expects you to know the controls and how to play the game before hand. The reason you're forced out of the transformation is cause you actually need enough energy to transform. It doesn't consume the energy but it is needed. Though to be fair only in rare cases such as Megatron, Galvatron, or Rodimus is it even worth transforming to use their attacks. 20:33 Only certain characters have access to the attack and then its a combination of D Pad and Attack. The game really can't be played guns a blaze and requires you to hold back and use the guard button to wait for an opening. 20:55 Its actually much worse then you think. Recall this is a Japanese game...with only an English Dub. For the Japanese Audience they need the Japanese Subtitles to understand the game and yeah the VAs are boring to grating. They're all in Country English voice actors which typically means they're just easier to get a hold of then paying for VAs out of Japan. This is made worse as most of the Voice Actors in here also did work for the english Dub of Mega Man X7...that speaks for itself. The Game also sucker punches you into playing the game 4 times if you want full completion. You need to beat both Autobots and Decepticons twice as on the second playthrough you encounter and recruit other Transformers. But yeah its sadly not a good game, which is a shame since there are so many callbacks and references to the original series so the Writers clearly knew the source material. I'd only recommend it if you're a Die Hard Transformers fan and only after looking up controls and tips for the game.

Cyborg 009 was a hugely influential manga that ran from 1964 to 1981. If you aren't familiar with it it can seem cliche but that's because it was responsible for many many common anime and manga tropes. A lot of common stuff in anime and manga was done there first.
