14:18 - "They never cared much about the NES in Europe" is completely false. They never cared much for it in the UK maybe, but we here in Scandinavia very much cared for it. The NES slaughtered everything else here. It also did okay in other European countries. I advice you to look up "The lie that helped Nintendo" , a fantastic investigative article about the rise of the NES and Nintendo in general in Scandinavia. Regardless, great video!

Well yeah, Italy was decently big on both NES and SEGA Master System too but you must have gotten shafted by the distribution too right? Most games were one to two years late, if they were released at all. It was worse for Mattel countries also.

@@MarcoZ1ITA1 Oh yeah, we got the game just as late as everyone else lol. However it was marketed very well. What about an "Bad games with an outstanding soundtrack" episode or "Games only good for its music" or whatever you want to call it? I know the show is more about the games in general, but it would be a great opportunity to honour Tim Follin, who just happened to work on kinda bad games. Check out the score of Pictionary on the NES for example! I think some Sonic games would also fall into this category, anyway I think your ears would like after they probably haven't fully recovered from some episodes back. It is astounding to me that so many Dreamcast games haven't even made their way to Japan despite being developed there, I mean it isn't like the Xbox, the Dreamcast sold decently well there. And the slightly faster built-in Modem the Dreamcast had in North America for some reason doesn't make that big of a difference I think.

Battletanx is the best multiplayer game on the nintendo 64. The capture the flag mode is so much fun with 3 friends better than goldeneye or conkers. You can also get powered up versions of the secondary weapons by having 15 of it and pressing a and b at the same time. The mines lay down an instant minefield behind you, the 3 missiles fires a salvo that wipes out whatever is unfortunate to be in front of it, I think the guided missile just fires a massive one it's been so long since ive played.

Hey, sorry, I know I'm super late to the party, but I wanted to throw out some possible titles for you to look into when you do Left in America 3. I tried to include a mix of Good, Okay, and Bad games just to add some variety Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (PS2/PSP/Wii) - Ace Attorney style game developed by Capcom and [adult swim] based on the hit cartoon. Brooktown High (PSP) - A weird dating sim/mini-game title that was actually published by Konami. I'll confess I have kind of a soft spot for this title and I don't think I'll ever be able to explain why. (if I'm being honest this is the one I'd probably most like to see you talk about) Dragon Ball Z Sagas (GC/PS2/Xbox) - I mean...it's a classic and...well, not beloved, but infamous DBZ game. Honestly I was just kinda surprised to learn it was exclusive to America. Urban Yeti! (GBA) - Has some quirky charm, but not a great title. Top down game, best known for the speedrun at AGDQ. Twisted Metal 3/4/Small Brawl (PS1) - Just a trilogy of titles in the Twisted Metal series that were exclusive to North America. May be worth a look. Sneak King (360) - Another infamous title, the Burger King tie-in game. Actually all three of the Burger King games were exclusive to North America, but Sneak King is the only one really worth discussing. Plumbers Don't Wear Ties (PC) - It's bad. It's just so bad. It's so incredibly bad. Jazz Jackrabbit 2002 (GBA) - This one is pretty interesting. The other entries in the series left the country, so I'm not entirely sure why this one was exclusive. Anyway, kinda the black sheep of the series. Not great, but not super terrible either. Mostly worth looking at because of the series it's from. Godzilla 2: War of the Monsters (NES) - I mean...how on earth does a game developed by Toho starring Godzilla get released only in North America? Crazy, right? Hope that helps! Have an awesome day!

I always thought Tin Head was a beautiful and mostly under-appreciated game...it's not the most fun game you'll play, but it's definitely easy on the eyes. But one thing about Tin Head that I always thought was totally out of place was the giant teddy bear head (I guess that's what it is?) you could hop around on. It brought the pace of the game down to a crawl and it certainly never fit in with the game's other visuals. I've always wondered who on the development team thought a hopping teddy bear in a sci-fi themed game was a good idea.
