@danielbeall77253 ай бұрын
Doubt anyone will see this or care, but a much more consistent method: Option 1: Band assisted, holding near the top of the band. Do 3-5 sets of ~4-6 reps. Use a heavier band if you can’t. DO NOT grab lower on the band. Instead add weight in addition to the band to progress. Option 2: Same rep scheme (people tend to drop too low, doing 1-3 reps with poor form) but either assist with a pulley in the off hand instead of a band, or if you have access, just use a cable pull down machine with a one handed attachment. Good luck 🤙🏻

Big muscles are irrelevant, strength is about a well developed branching system (cardio respiratory and nervous systems). That’s why there are some small guys who can achieve crazy feats of strength Edit- big muscles could mean you have more capacity for strength. But regardless irl it doesn’t matter too much if you’re physically the strongest unless it’s your spiritual calling. Be an all rounder, strong fast, agile, intelligent, wise, healthy, and a true man/woman. Also Testosterone isn’t too important either.

Big muscles are absolutely relevant as bigger cross-section of a muscle is a great predictor for raw strength it can provide. It's not all there is to it as technique and neural activation also are contributing but that's not the same thing as size being irrelevant. What is worth keeping in mind htat strength increases due to size have a tradeoff when it comes to things that are strength to weight ratio dependent. Like pull ups or one arm pull ups.
