I hadn't thought about Norman Baker's cancer hospital at the Cresent Hotel in Eureks Springs, Arkansas for many years. A beautiful old Victorian hotel that is reported to be haunted from all the patients that didn't survive his cure. The basement level is one of the creepiest places I've ever experienced.

Interesting. I presume the description of copperheads as the deadliest snakes is from Stanley? These snakes are among the least venomous of vipers and rarely cause fatalities. Did the people of his time somehow miss that fact? Or did they realize this was BS and figure that just because he exaggerated their deadliness, didn't mean his snake oil might be suspect?
