Alex, the way you talked about how your dream car doesn't need to be something crazy really hit me. I have a 1987 Chevy R10 that's my forever project/daily right now. My dad bought it new and my grandpa had it for well over a decade. It's been mine since my freshman year of college (7 years ago) and it's been my daily for over a year. My dream cars are: 1.) To get back the 76 Cougar my stepdad bought for us to fix up to be my first car. Had to sell it to pay rent when times got tough when I was 14. 2.) A 55 Thunderbird in Pearl White. Absolutely gorgeous car, and so fun to drive. A good friend of mine's dad has one and I have wanted one since I was a little kid.

I was a Knight Rider fan as a kid so the 82 Trans Am was probably my dream car. I never owned one but did eventually get an 02 WS6. If i ever buy a car to restomod it would probably be ... don't laugh guys...a 1995-96 2 door Pontiac Grand Prix. I owned a green one in the late 90s. It was sharp but underpowered. Would love to have a legit street car worthy version of it. Oh and it was great to see that I'm not the only one who uses the ego blower to dry cars. 🙂

This has been a hell of a build/resto, man. When you're done and the finish is cured, go back and apply some 3M 'door edge guard' (clear plastic stick-on that is usually wrapped over the edge of the door) to the valley underneath the door handle. That will guard against scratches. Similarly, use the same product on the bottom edge of the door, so you don't scrape curbs, etc.

I owned two of my dream cars when I was young and single. The one I would like to have again is the 67 camaro, factory 327 HiPo car (mine has a built powerglide but) I really like to have a 4 speed car. While not crazy fast it is a cool, fun to drive car that will attract attension everywhere go. Man its awsome to see this car looking all done up. Man when we finish building my dads college car, his 1969 convertible, RS Swapped that was a stolen car and was recovered its gonna be awsome. Ive never seen the car before when my dad used to daily it but that car went through everything, snow, rain hot sunny days to fade the paint away. That car was basically with him for almost his whole life, and many more years to go on with him! This car will get the most secure tech to prevent it from getting stolen again. Back in the 80s the most you could do to prevent your car was a kill switch. My dad went a step further. He installed a removable steering wheel, removable radio, kill switch and alarm system. I can't wait for this car to be finally done.

I was new to driving but always car obsessed. I was huge into the Jeep/K5 Blazer scene but always dreamed of a 2001 Ford SVT Cobra Red. Now that I’m older I have been buying my old dream cars. I’ve had my Dakota R/T 5.9, Durango R/T 5.9, third gen Camaro and Firebird and now my 2002 Harley Edition F150. Never been able to get a Cobra for a decent price. I’ll keep hunting

From a post on Reddit, so this is totally unconfirmed, but take from it what you will: Peter stole and cloned an old phone of Alex's and gained access to his personal and business Google accounts including the Legit Street Car KZbin account. With his username and password he could also get into Alex's Gmail, Google photos, text messages, contacts and much more. He was caught red handed logged in as Alex! Peter was logging in as Alex on KZbin so he could monitor his KZbin income, all analytics and this level of access gave him the ability to delete the entire channel. Alex's shop isn't open to the public and no one outside of employees are allowed. When Alex was out of town Peter had people bring their cars into the shop so they could work on their cars with Peter using all of Alex's tools. This was a huge insurance liability for Alex. There's a lot more to the story, such as Peter driving Alex's cars on a suspended license but I won’t get into all those details right now.

Back in the mid 90’s I had a 93 Mustang GT I bought new in spring of 94. It was the centerfold car for the 93 5.0. litre. It was all red, grey cloth, no sunroof & a 5 speed. Anyway I built it up with aluminum heads, custom one off aluminum plenum with a Vortech S-Trim race spec with HD bearings so I could run a cog drive pulley system. The car went 10:58@127MPH with me shifting like no one’s business…😋 10:58 back then which was real quick! I built it all myself. The car was show quality. It never seen snow or rain & I put it away in the winter. Basically just took it out to the local parking lot to hang out, street raced it a bunch & took it to New England Drag Way a couple times. There’s a point to all this, but I had to tell you about my car.😋 Okay, my sister’s boyfriend Josh had a 19k mile mint 87 Grand National & it was impeccably mint. We were anal about our cars, I still am. He went 12:30@104MPH with just a tune & Mickey Thompson sportsman pros. We took it apart & sent the heads out to New Jersey & he was getting a custom cam made from the same place. He bought everything for this car. We put a 13” front brake kit on it (I think Baer?) & of course he bought a huge Garret turbo, I can’t remember the sz? But the entire car was being built for 9’s & again this is 1995, so a real fast car. He was driving home from fishing down the Cape, we’re from New England, he fell asleep at the wheel in his winter beater & he died! Absolutely destroyed our family! It was my sisters first love & they were most likely definitely going to get married. Well I just figured I’d tell you a little story, because obviously I can’t ever see one of these with out remembering my very close friend & was going to be my future brother in law. Such a shame, he was 21 yrs old(💔) Im 48 now & I can’t believe how fast time flys by. His mom wanted me to have his car, but I couldn’t even look at it. She sold it to a couple guys about 8 yrs after he passed. Didn’t wanna bum you out but I love these cars! My cousin Russel has a few, one is in the low 8’s in the 1/4 mile! Good luck with it & I know you take care of your cars. Im still into cars, I have a 630 wheel H.P, black on black 44k original mile, mint, mint 09 BMW 135i with the mighty N54. It’s port & direct injected with twin pure 600’s. It’s gonna get a big single maybe next yr. Sorry for the book, good luck…💪🏻💯🙏🏻🏁

What a way for Buick to end the life of its G-body. I dreamed of having one back when they were new, but someone just out of high school and starting college couldn't afford it. I liked the G-bodies, I had two; a 1978 Regal and a 1980 Grand Prix. Just the basic cars, nothing fancy. Not my dream cars either, that would be the Daytona from Miami Vice, even if it was a replica.

My absolute dream car is 69/70 Daytona/Superbird!! When I was 10 years old, I was growing up in Central Florida, near the Daytona International Speedway. At a car show during Speedweek, there was a Toro Red Dodge Daytona. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!! Now this being WAY before the internet, research was done at the LIBRARY of all places! I read as much as I could find about this car, NASCAR, and it kicked off my love for cars! My family and I were around DIS all the time. My dad raced motorcycles there, my mom worked for Channel 6 (out of Orlando) a CBS station, and we were always around cars/motorcycles. I didn't see another Daytona in person until I was almost 30! It was at a tire shop I used to work at. It was Petty Blue and it was a clone but it was still beautiful as ever!!

I bought a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer in white that's an LT special edition that has the special 5 spoke 18" aluminum wheels. The 5.3 all aluminum LH6 has about 350 HP after a custom exhaust, air intake mod and custom tune. I have fallen completely in love with this thing over the years since it does everything I need and want a vehicle to do as well as scare the crap out of you if you really get into it. I deleted the roof rack and most people ask me if it's an SS since it sounds so good. They trip out when I tell them no. I don't ever plan on getting rid of it

I know your feeling. I finally bought my dream car 2 weeks ago. 07 sts v. Last 2 weeks I have been fixing it up getting it ready and doing some performance/maintance stuff. Just down to pulley swap and spark plugs and get put it back together. I just got my polishing kit from chemical Brothers and going to try to clean up the paint. Needs to be repainted at some point but you know how it goes. Do the best you can with what you have. I LOVE your GNX. It's a beautiful car and a hell of a find.

That C4 stuff is awesome. I bought my current daily driver, which is a 2005 Renault Clio mk2, in 2019 and did all the black plastics with that then. They're still black to this day. 65k km/just over 40k miles later. I mean it's winter most of the year here as well. Good stuff!!!

I love your GN content! So in 2003 when I turned 18 my 1st car was a 1 owner 84 cutlass she was rough but didn't care 1st car.... after blowing the motor I came across a 86 regal w the 5.0 ltr and it had a color shift paint job (purple, gold, green)! After someone rear-ended me and totaled it I found a 87 Grand National t type w less than 10k miles on a rebuild motor, trans, paint, and interior! Beautiful example of a super clean National! At the time a storage/classic car dealership had the car amd was working w a local bank to help ppl get financing I tried to buy that car 3 times in 2005-6 each time they wanted something more better credit more money down well we had to replace the master cylinder so we need more down it was always something petty honestly I believe they just didn't want to sell the car to a 20yr old but here is the kicker from the 1st time I tried to buy to the last time over a span of a year and a half from 2004-6 the price was 8800 the final price when I looked last was 9500 and even Into 2007 it was still sitting there for sale taking up space amd costing them money vs working w that 20 yr old who would have appreciated it and knew what it was.... in my personal opinion the regal and the cutlass we the best looking of thr 80s g-bodies, the ride the look nothing better! The montie and the grand prix were just to much...
