Not gonna lie, as soon as I heard this May, I'm literally making plans to buy this DAY ONE! I used to play Lego Racers 1 a bunch back in the day, and to really show my age, I used to play Tonka Garage and Raceway. To see somebody actually make a building and racing game again, and one that looks this amazing, it's bringing a tear to my eyes! The fact that it's coming out in little over a month, just makes it even better!!! The only thing that would make it better is if they announced a Star Wars themed racing area, or another developer announces they are making a new Star Wars Episode 1 (Pod)Racer.

I for one don't care if I have to wait 5 or so years for a game...1st because ma backlog is infinite and 2nd because time flies for me like for real in a week I see a game announced and it feels like is the next week when it's releasing but anyway gotta appreciate what they did indeed,I was surprised when I saw that it's already releasing in May.EA did that with NFS Heat and Unbound so seems to be a thing with racing games haha.

Ngl as someone who grew up playing Lego games and loving Lego racers 1 and 2, as a kid who was born after the release of both of the originals, I have literally been sitting in anticipation for a third title since I could understand the word, this is legitimately the most excited I've ever been for a video games release, I could not contain my joy watching this video as u showed more and more things that made me more and more excited, may 19th can't come soon enough

All star racing transformed was and still is superb. If only it got similar treatment to mario kart. Instead of trying something new and fixing something that isn’t broken. The next sonic racing game shoulda taken the winning formula and expanded around it. This Lego game might be that needed expansion

This game reminds me a lot of Modnation Racers and Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed. Combining customization with changing track situations and action racing. On top of having some goofy characters, this looks to be a cheery and fun game to look forward to.

As a game design major, I have huge props for turning crashing into things as a good thing. Not only does it aid players that may not possess the necessary skills, but manages to do so in a way that makes sense and helps sell the Lego brand

WOW! I want this so bad! I'm still playing the first Lego Racers game 😂 The only downside I can see in this is the fact that they abandoned the very cool concept of being able to choose your powerups (green for going fast, red for weapons, blue for shields and yellow for dropping obstacles) and upgrade them with white bricks. I loved that and I still don't understand why no other game ever embraced this... To me it is the single most fun feature in a racing arcade game EVER. I'll continue playing the original Lego racers because of this. Thanks for the review!

Lego Racers 2 was the first game I ever beat as a child. Super excited for this. So glad that it has kart racer elements. It feels like the Racers 3 that I have been waiting most of my life for. Not that excited for microtransactions and battle passes, especially for a non-free-to-play game marketed to children, but that is modern AAA for you. Hope Rocket Racer shows up.
