My past self is someone who struggled with her self esteem and commitment to other people, because of past trauma from undiagnosed ADHD. The way I looked at myself was bad. Something inside my head kept telling me all the things people said about me in the past. My past self don't seek validation from the outside world, but from my own inside world. My past self struggled with disruptive thoughts. My highest self and the girl I am becoming are living in the present, but she has dreams, visions and discipline. She has built healthy habits, routines, and her mindset is amazing. She has wonderful friends, who support her. My family is healthy and protected. My everyday life is amazing. Her energy is a pleasure to be around. She invest in herself.

I'm not sure if this will reach you, but I wanted to send this message anyway. I have been watching your videos for a long time and you have had such a positive impact on my life. You have helped me boost my productivity so much and organize my schedule effectively. You've also helped me so much with my self confidence and improved my mindset towards the adversities I've faced in my relationships. Recently, I got into a car accident with pretty severe injuries. I am slowly recovering and relearning basic things I took for granted like walking. This accident has made me so grateful for every single little thing in my life. It's difficult for me to write my daily gratitude journal, so I just thought I'd thank you directly. Thank you for being such an inspiration and such a positive role model. Even if you don't see this, I just wanted to put it out into the universe how blessed I am to know about you. Thank you so so so much, once again!

Since I got to know myself, people started telling me that I was selfish and bitchy. Hearing these comments broke me up a bit. But since 3 weeks ago, I started to see that they said that because they missed my help, not our friendship... I used to be a people pleaser, but now I'm taking care of myself, no matter what others think or say! Does that make me selfish? I don't know, but it makes me feel better!

You upload at the perfect time, OMG! I just finished high school last year and I can't quite afford uni , but I have a friend in uni who motivated me to get my life together and this video is the final push I needed. I've felt genuinely so lost, I became very depressed in high school, the only real friend I had moved away and we lost touch and I just have no idea what to do. I didn't really develop any passions or dreams in school besides doing KZbin but I don't have a clear camera to film and I have really bad acne so I've always been treated as lesser than because of my looks, which destroyed my self confidence. (I was the friend who wasn't invited to the gatherings or even the group chats yk.) I'm starting a workout routine tomorrow and I'm going to start walking and going out more .I'm also making plans to study something next year. I don't know what yet, just that I'd like to have a history elective. We're a bit tight on money, but my mom is motivated to help me be successful. (She's the best. She's been through a lot and is still one of the best people I know) This made me think and realize that I have a lot to be thankful for. Yes, my life isn't great per say, family issues etc, but I have a mom and brother I love, I have friends who are so motivating and above all else I have myself. Thank you for that.
@lenalifts9 ай бұрын
wow thank you so much for sharing and being vulnerable. i hope you know that you are not alone because i was bullied a lot when I was younger, left out of every groupchat, hangout, etc. Im also struggling with acne right now too. @@lenalifts Thank you so much! It is relieving to know that someone knows how it feels and still managed to get out of their slumps and be productive. Besides still working on convincing myself to actually work out (because with how unfit I've gotten it hurts a bit) and working on having more energy and positivity, I am doing much better. I made some changed to my morning routine which should help with that and my next goal is to start getting up earlier. Thank you so much for replying to my comment and for being such an inspiration. I absolutely adore your videos as they always make me feel like I want to improve my life. Much love

I don't think I've ever commented on one of your videos before, but you truly are a light, Lena. I always feel so energized and want to be productive after watching one of your videos. I was consistent in the gym for the first two months of this year, and then I hit a slump for a month and then worked nightshift for a month and messed up my schedule real bad. I want to get back to the gym because I discovered I genuinely liked it, but it's so hard to just go for some reason. I need that extra push. But I think this video definitely helped. And omg, don't even get me started on the people pleasing... I don't know how to say no, and I offer myself so fully to my friends. Probably because I feel like if I don't say yes to every hang out, or offer to help them out all the time, I'm afraid they'll stop wanting to hang out with me. Definitely stemming from low self confidence, so at least I know what to work on.

PLEASE do a video on people pleasing. All the examples you mentioned was basically me at a young age (13-16,17). I grew up in an area where everyone knew everyone in church and the people I looked up to and trusted were the ones that either made fun of me, told me to “calm down” or “lighten up, we’re just joking” whenever I would stand up for myself, or were the ones who said “they know me”. Thank God, I’m out of that place physically and mentally, but the feels still haunt me to this day. Also, I always love your self help videos so whenever you post, I’m watching it right away ❤❤❤

I've been watching your videos every morning while getting ready for work and it's been such a vibe! The healthy reminders are a great way to start my day :) I really resonated with this video, especially with the "people pleaser" section! I am struggling so hard with potentially losing a friend group that I've known for years due to finally being fed up with being the butt of the joke and having my boundaries crossed slowly but surely, but I'm finding that the friends who are helping me through this are so supportive of me becoming a better version of myself who stands up for herself. I'd love to hear more advice on how to catch yourself being a people pleaser so people who also struggle with this are able to work on this! Cause I certainly didn't realize how bad it was until it was too late. Anywho, thanks for the video! Take care and have a great week, everyone!

Thank you Queen, I really need it now. Definitely a perfect timing to start my journey on becoming the best version of myself. It indeed enlighten me to have the courage to be the person I really want to be since then🤗🤍 Such a big help. You're great, I'm a huge fan of yours. Keep posting videos, you gave me the opportunity to be brave enough to love myself more, know my value and self worth hidden in those what ifs and overthinking era. Thank you so much really. I've been watching a lot of motivational videos currently but seeing this video that you had been posted just a while hit me differently. The impact is huge and that it hit me positively to change myself and start anew.

One habit I've recently implemented is being very careful with the types of content I consume and when I consume it. I absolutely love starting my day off with a Lena video or something equally motivating. It makes me feel so much more awake and I feel more at peace to start my day!

Aww I’m so honored to start the day with you trust me the feeling is so mutual ❤

This one is so important for getting out of slumps, especially if you have mental illness. I used to be an avid true crime watcher (think like Buzzfeed Unsolved days on YT, plus cable shows like Dateline/Unsolved Mysteries/Forensic Files), but it understandably made my anxiety so much worse. Last year I spent the summer rewatching Buzzfeed Unsolved for the early Shane and Ryan nostalgia, and ended up not sleeping right for WEEKS. I've had similar issues in the past with consuming fitness content/"what I eat in a day" style videos too. It can suck to give up a genre you really love, but I've been doing so much better ever since I gave up those kinds of videos in favor of more productivity/motivating videos like Lena's.

Hi Lena, thank you so much for your video. Can you do a video about how to be your own cheerleader and how you set the bar for others?

Ghosted everybody since last month. Our bodies can truly feel it when we have too much social media and deleting it last month just made my days and routines better. I love this kind of video from you, Lena! 🌷💘 I wonder if you have a podcast that we can listen to nonstop.

Honestly it's may already and I still didn't really do anything of my new year's resolutions. But when I watch your videos I get that motivation, but I still have to manage my time better so I can do everything I want

When it comes to negative comments I heard someone say “1 in 10 people are insane. So if your video gets 1000 views, ofc your gonna get like 100 weird/hateful comments”. Ofc not every “hater” is necessarily insane, but it really helps me tenure my expectations and not be fearful of negativity as I’m on starting my own content creation journey !
