Hi, I’m spreading the Gospel may you be blessed in JESUS CHRIST name *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

It's a nice and relaxing hobby. Go out and get yourself a 10 gallon from Petsmart or Petco. They are pretty cheap. Get some easy fish and just see how you like it. They sell starter kits that come with some substrates, decor, and filter. Gallon of water is 8lbs, so a 10 gallon tank would be 80lbs. So while it may fit in most places, not everything will support the weight. Keep that in mind! Brady mentions the weight of his 125g tank in the second Leon video, something like 1,600lbs I think with all the water, substrate, and coral.

I'm a marine biologist and have been following Leon's story with interest. I've kept lobsters over the years, and I don't think there’s any advice I can give you that you haven't already figured out for yourself. I would have suggested that you add a cleaner wrasse to help Leon clean his hard to reach area but he seemed so freaked out by the killies that it may not work for you. Keep up the good work!

What about those shrimp type cleaners? Could those work?
@Chronis672 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark. I have a theory about Leon's reaction to the killies, and maybe you can confirm. I think that the issue was that Leon is territorial but he didn't get a chance to claim the new tank as his own before the killies arrived. Now that he is by himself and grew more comfortable in his surroundings, perhaps now he would be less submissive to any other fish added to the tank.

Look into alternative, natural treatments. There's usually far more relief from symptoms and even healing and reversal (or at least stopping of progression) of many chronic health conditions, than traditional med can offer. So many times people turn to that route out of desperation, when trad med fails them, to find a whole new world of possibilities. Good luck on your journey!

What are you recovering from? Here's my story, maybe it will help you. I'm at 110 days now, after taking pharmaceutical opiates for the best part of 5 years. I have/had a legit reason - I had hernia surgery 5 years ago that went wrong, the nerves got damaged somehow and now I have pain all the time, sometimes quite bad. 18 months ago I got hit with a piece of timber that flew out of a table saw, of course it hit me right where the damage is and ruptured things internally which made things way worse and my pain meds usage escalated alarmingly, eventually going all the way up to very strong buprenorphine patches. I became suicidal, and lost all hope of ever getting better, my world was a world of pain both physical and psychological. During a consult with my psychologist she said something that threw a switch in my brain, and I knew I just had to get off the path I was on, and decided then and there I would begin the road to a life with no opiates or antidepressants, because it seemed that the more I was taking the worse I was getting, not the other way round. It took 8 months of tapering down slowly, and I eventually stopped ahead of schedule. The final script of codeine (very mild) to help me make the final step I never ended up getting filled, I just wanted to get off the pills with no more drawing it out. As you're experiencing now, the first few days is very tough. But it gets better. It's a slow process, and you'll run out of patience and get angry and frustrated at times (I did). Even now at 110 days I still get little periods of discomfort and restlessness (the "restless legs" thing is bad enough to prevent sleep sometimes) but they are happening less, are less severe, and are spaced further apart. There has been a few times I've looked longingly at the unopened boxes of Oxycodone in my pantry, but I have remained resolved to being free and I know if I take any my journey will have to begin again and I'm stuffed if I want to put myself through that again. Once is enough. At the suggestion of my Doctor I tried a little CBD Oil, just to help with my pain, because of course my nerves are still damaged and I'm still dealing with pain from that. Pretty helpful stuff actually, and taking a larger dose before bedtime has enabled me to sleep a lot better, and it definitely settles things down when the withdrawal symptoms are bad. I was initially worried that I might be just replacing one drug with another one, but it's nothing like that. Psychologically and emotionally I feel pretty good most of the time now, I'm remembering what it was like to lead a reasonably normal life before the drugs began to rule everything. What's right for you and what's right for me are likely two different things, and I'm not suggesting you should entertain the idea if it's not what you want, but the CBD does help me with withdrawal. It's not magic, and it doesn't fix everything, but it does take the edge off and help keep you on a more even keel. Keeping the wild emotional swings to a minimum is definitely helpful. I see one of the other commentors mentioned tea - that is another very good suggestion indeed. Coffee is a stimulant, and it will exacerbate the withdrawal symptoms so it's not a great idea to be drinking that. Tea on the other hand even though it contains some small amounts of caffeine is a much more relaxing beverage with different benefits. As my Gran used to say, "you can face anything with a good cup of tea". I've found that to be absolutely true. Get yourself some good quality loose leaf tea and a one-person teapot, and get brewing. The process can become like a ritual, and gives you something to look forward to, no matter how small of a thing it is. Teabags are fine and all, but to really experience the full benefits you need good loose leaf and a pot. Stay strong. Fight on. And keep watching Leon. You can do it.

I worked as a dishwasher at a seafood restaurant specializing in lobsters. We had them wild caught fresh every day, like get-them-from-the-boat fresh, and they were so lively! I would get them from the fridge for the chefs and just instantly started to admire them as the cool animals they are. I learned a lot about their colorations, biology, and tons of other stuff. Got called lobster whisperer, because I could handle them fine even without the rubber bands. They're such amazing creatures and it's so cool to see Leon adjust to his environment and get his strength back! I want to rescue one like this someday, when I have the time and resources :) Thank you for sharing his journey!

I love watching him move his smaller appendages near his mouth. We tend to think of the big claws as their arms and everything else as legs, but they actually have many "arms" with different make up and uses. I find it amazing how they control so many limbs simultaneously, it would be like us having a separate task for each finger and toe!

When I first ran into that first video of Leon I was like "Why on Earth would this guy do this" but after watching all of these videos my wife and I have become enamored with Leon and have subscribed to keep up with him (or her) antics. We usually have Lobster on Christmas, now we'll forever feel guilt about it.

If I had the space and the money I would honestly have a lobster for a pet myself. They fascinate me and I'd love to have one around, I don't know where I would buy a live one easily so I'd probably have to start with a crab and see if I could keep it alive haha Something about feeling sorry for the poor half dead creatures, I've seen live crabs at a store and had to resist the urge to buy one and get it set up in a tank haha It isn't a common thing to do, but its definitely a thing people do think of doing and sometimes manage to pull off ^^

Dear lobster Dad, I am a grown up foster kid facing amazing odds in my own life. I found the story about Leon to be touching because as a child facing abuse, then as an adult with more of the same, I always wanted to save the store and "red lobster" caged lobsters. IF NOTHING ELSE, I wanted SOMEONE, SOMETHING, to have a chance at living the life they deserve. Somewhere deep down, I was wondering how evil people had to be for allowing them to suffer in crowded conditions before eating them alive; hoping whoever shrugged off the high price, bought it, and ate it finding the meal unsatisfactory - a taste of how the lobsters feel every day. To see Leon get a new lease on life, it made my heart smile- his fate wasn't sealed in the matrix of 'eat or be eaten', it was just beginning a chapter of freedom ❤️ proof that if there's hope for him, then there's hope for me too. Thank you for being a gentle person and caring, while caring for all the other animals. I know Jesus loves you, and I want you to know that you're a hero in my book: God given dominion over animals and the earth doesn't mean the power to 'seek, consume and destroy.' it means stewardship, and sustainability 🙌 and you're doing just that. See ya Leon, thanks again lobster Dad!! You rock ✨
