oh my gosh I covered my mouth when all the stuff came down. I saw it on facebook as a picture but seeing it actually coming down is a whole other story. So glad no one got hurt cause of it. It will be another project now but the lady will be thankful how good you care of her and you make another awsome great job in caring for the ladys health for the next 200 years or so. Hey Ash! An extension wand on a vacuum cleaner is the equivalent of a lightsaber for spiders. 😈 I've no one to joust them for me, so I plan my attack and go in. Amazing what the timber panelling is hiding. Glad you weren't injured Terry, however would like to see you wearing glasses and a better respirator mask. Put in noise reducing insulation so you don't hear people walking above and to stop the draughts. This will be another beautiful space once renovated. The cabinet you took out was beautiful. When all the stones were falling, all I could think was , I hope none of them land on Terry. And then, my next thought was, I hope none of the floor tiles get cracked by the falling stone! I'm glad to see that both Terry and the floor survived. Another job done.😃. I must admit, I don't understand why you don't need to replace the fallen stones to support the upper floors.

Years of water penetrating the rooms above did for the lintels you had some decay in the floor above but not to this extent ,a prayer and the slightly bowing paneling,runciple spoon it may clean up if silver plate .

When you took the sagging panel off the top, I thought the beam didn’t look so bad. Then you took the second section off and a huge chunk fell out. I thought, that can’t be good! Not that surprising it collapsed. What’s surprising is it stayed up that long. 😮 So, now you have another “just” job turned into a major project. The Château strikes again!😂

That was dangerous. So glad Terry didn’t get hurt. I learned today that the tiles you have in that room are called Pugin or Encaustic Tile. They are still made today. Victorian style might be what they used. Thought I let you know, in case you need to restore floors. Billy Petherick mentioned it in todays video.

About the found spoon and the visit from the people who were unable to purchase the chateau but had a couple of mementos from bit, It does seem the chateau is still speaking to you, filling in more of the unknowns. I am so glad you are collecting all the knowledge and the artifacts that turn up. It is good to see that history is not lost! So glad no injuries occurred from the sudden ceiling collapse!
