I just started carnivore and it has been so much easier for me than keto was. Cooking has been so much simpler and I'm not always trying to figure out how many carbs I have left for the day and was still just thinking about food to much. This has been so much mentally easier- no cravings. Yay! Wishing you all well on your keto or carnivore journeys!

That is the truth! I have done that tons of times - get to my goal and go back to old ways. This is a lifestyle choice that lasts forever. I am not gaining my weight back this time! I'm at 3 weeks without a binge--I gave it to God! Amen!

My suggestion to stay on track during vacation is to take the scales and weigh in daily. If you slip up one day, you'll see it on the scale the next day, and that is the motivation to be more careful. This way, at a minimum, she won't gain while on vacation and maybe even lose a pound or two!
@davidadcock3382
@davidadcock3382 8 ай бұрын
@@patriciawhalen3276 You need to use a 10 day moving average of your weight to determine what your real weight is. I weigh everyday now that I am at my ideal weight and weigh at the same time each day. My weight can fluctuate 4 lbs from day to day. While losing the 120 pounds I weighed only once every two months for I knew what I needed to do each day and i was not going to be swayed nor did I want mind games going on in my head because of the daily weight fluctuations in my weight each day. I pray she does well while on vacation.

I am so sorry, Jess. I have been meaning to write to you all week since your last video, but things just got on top of me. I have been following you for years, and the negative comments that you get really make me feel sad. I wish there were some way you could delete those people from commenting. You are being honest. Probably everyone who follows you and who writes comments has had difficulties with weight. I doubt whether anyone has a journey that has not had yo-yo diet involved, when things slip. Therefore, we all know how difficult it is. Thank you for your honesty, and for continuing when you have such a miserable commentors. Please take care, and keep going! Thank you.Xx

Hi Jess, what site or app do you use for macro calculations? Another thing, could you do a day of eating or what to change when you're exercising like are you going up 200 calories from your calculated macros?

When you eat correlty everyday then after a few months you will not need willpower. Even though she reached her goal I could tell she never had this figured out for the long term and made the lifestyle changes to be successful long term. It was like Okay I reached my goal now let's have a Six month feast to celebrate. Losing the weight is actually the easy part staying at your correct or goal weight is the hardest part thus most people gain it all back.

A new sponsor? The gem bite multi is 35 calories per serving. 4 grams of sugar and 6 grams of total carbs. 3 weeks to test a new supplement isn’t really enough time to push it. You should list all the ingredients and what’s in the product as some of the ingredients could cause allergic reactions , pre and probiotics are also included with multiple spices. Not your standard multivitamin. I’m glad you’re still on track Jess. Not a fan of the supplement pushing. (My 2nd reply was deleted) I did look up the ingredients. For someone on a keto diet 6 grams of carbs and 4 grams of sugar is a lot. 35 calories for a multivitamin? For someone eating total carbs of 15-20 g per day, it’s a bit much. Not many will look this up as they’ll try whatever Jess mentions on the channel. Guess the electrolyte company is not a sponsor anymore and prior wasn’t it perfect keto? Whoever pays the bills I guess.

She linked the vitamin. Look up the ingredients yourself.
@angelawojcik5418

Obviously I did look up the supplement as I posted the nutritional info. I guess whoever pays the bills is who gets pushed regardless of the carb and sugar count. 4 grams of sugar on a keto diet is silly for a multi spiced up pro and prebiotic. Some won’t even look it up and will try whatever is mentioned on the channel.

Wow! 6 is way too many carbs for a supplement - and you don’t need much supplement if you’re eating whole foods! I would never buy this - thanks for sharing .

Adults are responsible for what they put in their body and it’s on them if they blindly take a supplement without looking into if it’s right for them.

Jess is someone ppl trust and not everyone checks. There is an element of liability on her part if she is sharing and pushing the supplement which is keto questionable.

I'm confused ..obviously she gained weight back but since October as she said she has lost 29lbs of the weight she gained back. So what part of that is not losing. If you look at the statistics it's very hard to keep weight off ...it people looked up the science ...the body wants to go back to your highest weight and will kick up the hormones that bring on the cravings...it's a struggle and at least she hasn't given up.

For someone who is in the public eye and with followers who need help, motivation , guidance ect to get their eating on track, falling off the wagon for so long is definitely going to get negative comments. Procrastination, looking for quick fixes and constantly starting a new challenge with zero weight loss isn’t ideal for those who need to hear someone with real struggles and someone who doesn’t give up. Myself included needs to hear and see someone who doesn’t give up and makes excuses. Some of us have been following right from the beginning. Jess mentioned in her prior few videos about giving up and lying to herself. Hard work and dedication is needed. With a huge following , sponsors and personal revenue coming in, we need accountability. She’s back on track but should not keep giving up when it gets hard. We fall off, we get back on track. So those who get frustrated that the weight piled back on and it took so long to get back to what she’s promoting and what her channel is all about , was a bit upsetting. Wonderful that she is putting herself out there , but results speak volumes. We all plateau, sometimes months at a time. We gain a bit and lose. Sometimes the same 5 pounds over and over. Being consistent even with her struggles is what ppl are looking for. Sugar coating and fluff comments aren’t helping. Hopefully she stays on track this time. We need it.
