This practice was perfect, thank you Adriene. I have real trouble letting stuff go, so this yoga practice is a must have in my yoga tool box. Case in point, at the start of the practice, I was really annoyed at some people, they have been bad mouthing one of my favourite TV shows, and I know that might seem like a silly thing to get annoyed about, but it gets to me. But after doing this beautiful yoga practice I feel lighter, people are still jerks, but I feel a little more in control of my emotions now. I love how gentle this practice is, and how it has made me feel. Thank you once again Adriene, you are awesome. See you again tomorrow. Namaste. 🙏🧡💛🦋🪐

It isn't my idea of a staycation having had this week off from work, yet if feels good to make progress. I've started doing this new "drill" that every time I notice that I could do something in a better way on my mat, instead of being too hard on myself I try and say "Great observation" to myself. I always say that I'm willing to be humble and learn so why would I expect perfection or not be ready to accept imperfection? Hoping to do this more off the mat, too😉 Wishing anyone reading this a positive day!

Got interrupted by a delivery person at the door today while I was in down dog and I'm sure they'd have been able to see me through the window lmao. Made me think about how a year or so ago I used to be so anxious that I would frantically hide at the back of the house any time there was a knock on the door. Today I got up, answered the door with a smile, and didn't even feel marginally stressed out or embarrassed. It was a nice reminder of how far I've already come.

I graduated university this spring and have been feeling kind of lost and stressed regarding my next steps. The pressure from family and friends isn’t helping either. Delight Day 4 🙏 July 4th, 2024 'Everything is as it should be is a hard mantra to embrace with such disparity in this world. This am however I was able to see blessings in disruption of plans that caused a bit of havoc yet led me to a serene spot to practice along Badger Brook as the sun came up 🙏💛

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Play Day - 10 is a refreshing and enlightening practice. It's an awesome start for my first day with my virtual gig. Ironically. I will work with Dallas, Texas high school students to help improve their English (and Adriene is in Texas). I love reading 📚 and English has always been my favorite subject. I did modify throughout this session. I did puppy instead of down dog and a modified plank due to tension in my lower back. I am going to push 💪🏾 through to do a morning 🌄 run 🏃🏿‍♀️. Who's here on Move March 2021? It has been difficult to keep moving during this whole "corona" year. I started to follow Adriene's Yoga practices when the first wave hit Germany, and have been doing daily practices since then. Some days have been tougher than others, some days I had to force my self to move, to make time for myself. I am grateful for you Adriene and for all of you practicing all over the world, you keep me motivated, humble and full of joy. Namaste!

"Everything is as it should be." I could relate to this mantra more than the other one (which seems to be getting a lot of the love in the comments). I like that statement because it helps me to accept that this is where I'm at now and relieves the anxiety of wanting to make changes.

May 13, 2022 04:51 Intention : flow to allow and let it go A feel good sequence today, this is a testimony that after I did this practice I have recharge to my full potential throughout my day doing vigorous task physically and mentally and I am happy that I had a productive day. That is why I am just about to post this journal entry because right after my practice I have to rush to my day and having this time for myself is always worth it. Today I kept in mind the sometimes the only obstacle we face is our own mind, so I let it go and flow. Happy today thank you Adriene Sending happy energy to everyone here😊 Namaste🙏🏼

As someone feeling rather stiff this morning, I wondered about this vinyasa flow practice, but it was a moderate one, kind and slow Adriene, as you always do ☺️ so senior yogis we can do this for the start of MOVE for March. 20 minutes just right for a little wake up and I used deep slow breaths to calm me down. I’m looking forward to Thursday, for the spine, should be good 🤔😃 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💕

I’m glad I trusted you! I was so close to skipping bc lunges often flare up my sciatic like firework. It was slow and I remembered you saying breathe slow, and skip the bits that spoil the fun. I will be back tomorrow because of it 💚 🙏🏻

How did the previous practice work for you? I hope your back is feeling better?! I made it to the mat super late. Initially, I was concerned with a vinyassa flow because if not feeling 100%, yet it wasn't bad. It was a soft flow. Feel better. Namaste and Ase! 🦋♥️🦋

Thank you so much Adriene. You are amazing. I felt serious relief during the knocking on heaven's door, and felt like I exhaled some black smoke in one of the downward dogs. At the ending mountain pose, right before you started mantras, the words 'prana apana' came to mind, and I feel so secure right now, like I'm standing up tall, and i'm taking the right (baby) steps in life. I hope anyone reading this has an amazing day, don't let anyone hold you back. Peace and love ya'll.

Not sure why I skipped this one four months ago. It is quite nice. Yesterday, as I was out of town visiting a friend, I started to feel faint and a little wobbly, as I climbed the stairs from an underpass. It was as if an earthquake was happening, but there wasn't one. It only lasted less than a minute during which I was able to message my friend to look for me in case I did not show. When I walked out onto the street level, the one leg was still not 100 percent there, but soon after it was fine. Play day 10. 736 days in a row. On to the second scheduled calendar practice!

I love that you reached out to your friend when you were feeling out of sorts. Sometimes I wonder if our bodies send these little messages just to see if we’re paying attention. Nice to know you are and that you love yourself to make sure you line up help if it will be needed.

@@trishakingsbury2224 I had to reach out because it was not where many walk, despite it being a busy street. It was raining and fewer were out. I literally thought there was a chance I might drop to the ground. I think lack of decent sleep, overexertion walking and insufficient water were the likely cause.

First Day of MOVE ! So grateful to be here, among so many wonderful yogi and to reconnect with the practice thanks to this incredible woman Adriene. I was so sad to miss BREATH and BRIDGE, but I don't know why, I couldn't any "life force" to show up on the mat... And today, when I heard the second mantra "The Universe is for me and so everything else" I started to cry ... I don't know what this reaction means, but it definitely succeed to let something go ... Has anyone had also tears at the end of this practice ? Wish you all a wonderful day, week and month ! Thank you again for everything !!

I paused the video right at the start as you urged us to 'let it go'. and cried for 10 minutes straight. Today is my first time back on the mat since my wonderful cat Mia, died two days ago. She was old and tired but was my constant yoga companion who purred me through each plank, nuzzled my fingers as I sat cross legged and lay down next to me at the end of each session. My heart is breaking to be here without her but it has started the healing and I won't give up, I just have to learn to do it with her in my heart, not in the room beside me any more. Thank you Adriene for your wonderful yoga and the way it helps body, mind and spirit repair and grow x

10.10 🧘🏿‍♂️ Tenth day of PLAY! Wow, I really thought I wouldn't have time to fit these two sessions in today but this one right here, is something I truly needed today. It felt so freeing to let go, I ended up smiling and giggling, feeling so light when I barely even mustered a smile today. It gave me more faith in hoping things will work out since at the moment, I'm not necessarily in a good place mentally. It means alot. I'll make sure to come back to this practice in my spare time. Also, I love the mantras and the segment after. It felt like an awakening and I just feel so light. 🥺

Knocking on heaven's door was special for me today. I let go and flew into the moment of the movement, and I got emotional. Adriene said, "Don't give up on yourself." And I'm taking that to heart. I really needed to hear that today in my practice. Thank you ❤ perfectly timed practice today

I cannot describe in words the feelings I have experienced during this flow. I have been dealing with many issues due to my severe anxiety and depression for months. Everyday is a struggle in different ways. I have been feeling particularly down these past few weeks and coming today to the mat felt...like I knew that I am strong. All the weakness I have felt was me getting stronger. And I have felt that, deep down, I feel hopeful and loved, above anything else. I say thank you everyday for having discovered you Adriene. Your soul speaks to mine, and to all of us here. Thank you from my heart and my soul❤️

I am a wreck today and I found this practice again at the exact right moment. I left my only child far away at college yesterday so I'm struggling a lot. This was a blessing to find and do again. Things are as they should be indeed and the universe is for me (and my baby) and so is everything else. Thank you, Adriene (and your mom). Your practices "come" to me in an uncanny way just when I need them most.

I'm home from work today because I could not deal with the outside world today. 20 days until the election, Covid still raging out of control.. all of it just sent me into a tailspin of body ick! My hamstrings felt so tight in the first downward dog, but at the end they felt so loose I was able to touch my feet to the ground! This is the amazingness I get from daily yoga practice! Namaste!

I’m glad I got to “let go” of the song from Madagascar that’s stuck in my head whenever I see “MOVE”. The lyrics are good for me though bc I normal don’t like to move it (move it). I had some sciatic pain this morning so I loved the invitation to do the modifications and stay low to the ground. I have to trust you and myself to know how far I’ll go. Another song. Oh well. Thank you 🙏🏻

This was exactly what I needed to hear and feel today. The universe was definitely for me putting this practice in my path today. I had some seriously concerning news from my dr today which looks like it is going to involve lots of hospital visits. I don't deal well with hospitals (serious understatement) so this is super difficult for me to accept. However, I had a little spider join me on the mat today and I managed to accept his presence and let him stay. Everything is as it should be has been one of my favourite mantras for many years and my daughter got me a charm for my bracelet last year that says "you were given this life because you are strong enough to live it". I got this, I will accept what life gives me, I am strong 💝 Day 13 of Flow and day 317/365

It was midnight…I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t let the thing that was bothering me go, I talked to my husband about it, which helped, but it wouldn’t just move on. I did a quick search for a yoga session to help me move it along. Half way through I felt relief and tension lessen. Ahh just a quick 20 mins and I was free to sleep. I wish more people did this rather then go to alcohol or tv or just lay in bed tossing and turning. I’m so thankful to just “let it go.” 🙏 Namaste

Came to the mat today feeling unmotivated and anxious. I heard one of my yoga teachers in the back of my mind telling me that no matter how I feel, (happy, sad, tired) it doesn’t matter. Yoga will always make me feel better. And it truly does. My entire mood/perspective shifted. Thank you for your guidance Adriene ❤️
