Yes I don't get why osrs players like to bash runescape 3 so much. I rarely see runescape 3 player bash OSRS. Both games have their own pros and cons and both can be enjoyable.

Khagan Wanganate yeah, I think the main problem was most osrs players today played through the transition from the original “osrs” going through the changes to eventually become RS3. And the problem with that is they compare them as if they’re the same game now. But IMO it’s like 2 entirely different games. But love them both🤷‍♂️

not only that but with an avas accumulator its literally a zombie chicken with a stick that protects ur arrows and snags random shit off the ground n crafts arrows out of it. like what that's fucking awesome

The 28 slot limit to the bag is probably the single worst thing in Runescape. It ostensibly wants to be realistic but just like you said breaks that pretense all the time. It is more of a Bag of Holding, but the fact that you are limited to a very small number of slots and that lots of things like food and potions don't stack (I think; I'm new to the game) are just contradictions in this behavior which make life harder for the player. If you're carrying around multiple armor sets you barely have room for anything else, having to bank things constantly. That's not fun that's just tedious. RS3's separate tool belt etc is a needed quality of life improvement. Game-play wise you obviously don't want giant stacks for gatherables because you dont want players *completely* AFK gathering, but diminishing resources could be a way around that. There is literally zero in-game reason the bag couldn't get more slots either by crafting or some other mechanic; in the UI the panel would just have to be scrollable. (I know there are beasts of burden in RS3 which is a concession but not as good as just expanding the bag, I guess Jagex feels too many OSRS fans would 😤😤😤 over it)

I play both and RS3 is my main game honestly. I play OS for its unique content but generally prefer RS3 because I already lived through "oldschool" RuneScape back in the day.

I prefer RS3 almost entirely for the quest storylines. Pretty sure canon stops in OSRS with King's Ransom, meanwhile, there's been well over a hundred quests continuing storylines that I found really neat or intriguing (or hell, even just purely fun like the Penguin quests) that you can't do in OSRS.

I quit runescape when rs3 came out because I hated the change to eoc, but I really wasnt a fan of oldschool either. 2009-2012 rs was prime for me. But I've returned to RS3 and found myself enjoying it a lot.

Love this kind of vid, ever since returning to the gam I'm missing the perfect runescape in between osrs and rs3. Rs3 seems so alien to me as i quit in 2015 and a lot changed after that and in osrs I miss a lot of stuff like the lodestones and toolbelt but also certain quests and dungeoneering in particular. It's funny to see how everyone has their own 'real runescape' but I'll have to stick to osrs as it's the gameplay and mechanics most familiar to me.

Quests I know that have been totally reworked that could be interesting comparisons: -demon slayer -romeo and juliet (Gunnar's Ground) -prince ali rescue (replaced by stolen hearts and another I forget the name of) -rune mysteries (reworked into a two-parter with Rune Memories) -Doric's Quest (What's Mine is Yours) Then maybe a "new novice quest" comparison, with some of those Kourend quests contrasted with RS3 ones like Violet Is Blue or One Piercing Note.

If you try RS3 and you get 99 attack with 1 strength you will be super op. The weapons in RS3 offer strength so all you technically Need to be strong is the attack level requirement to wield that strength of a weapon. I am level 59 with 99 attack 1 str 1 def etc and if I duel or fight a player my level I will literally insta-kill them lol and I get to be low level 59 with a combat skillcape. What I am getting at is that attack pures in RS3 are strong af and fun.

If your account is still active, the stats should still be in RS3! Those stats won’t transfer to OSRS unfortunately! But your friends list should still be there if your original account is still active! Does that make sense?

Rs3 for me has a better boss experience and Graphics are pretty neat. However I hate how abilities are basically required for bossing. Pking is dead bc of it as well. They should of kept abilities away from the wild. Osrs is nostalgic af and we'll pking is a thing here.

I was an OSRS player since it's release, I enjoyed it, an played the hell out of it, but there is one thing OSRS don't have that I enjoy more in RS3. OSRS bosses are a joke compared to RS3. You have to use spells and abilities to counter the abilities the boss uses against you, or you have to use abilities to render their protections/armor useless long enough to do damage. You have to think your way through a boss fight in RS3, where as OSRS you are good as long as your prayer flicking is on point. There is no real skill to OSRS bossing. I started playing RS3 back in early 2019 and haven't looked back since. Yes RS3 maxing is faster then OSRS but who gives a fuck. I am a PVM junkie, I like difficulty. I like to have my memory and game knowledge challenged. Not just spend a whole fight flicking prayers and switching armors.

@@Deadricklord Well first off, lets get something clear. I have cleared all content in OSRS, that includes CoX and ToB, so I have a legitimate claim to the PVM difficulty between the two games. Also where the fuck did I ever mention RS3 being more popular then OSRS? I don't know why every time someone from RS3 mentions boss difficulty you ORSR junkies get all offended. Come over to RS3 and do Telos, then tell me if you still think OSRS bosses bring the same amount of timing and precision needed to defeat Telos. There is no opinion that I brought to this discussion, only facts. You can't just prayer flick and safe spot bosses. You need to work for it. Take for example Zuk. I got my cape only after 15 tries. Telos took me 46 tries and I had to watch guides in between all the rage quitting and suffering I went through to get my first kill. What I said wasn't an opinion. It was a fact. Sorry if that bothers you, but again. If you don't believe me, come try it yourself.
