1: she's fully changed colour meaning she's probably nearer 3 years old. 2: you need a way to stop those perches rotating as it can cause them to ground. 3: you might want to cover one of the sides if she seems stressed (my one loves to watch me when I'm in the room so when I covered the sides she just moved so she could still see me) 🤭 super pretty Aru looking type!

Those gauges are extremely inaccurate please think about getting digital. They are pretty cheap on amazon! (:

This snake is definitely older than a year and appears closer to maybe 2-3 years old as she no longer has her neonate colours. At her current size, her minimum enclosure size should really be at least 24x18x24 to allow for more horizontal climbing space as its reasonably cramped in there right now and 6 months or more is an incredibly long time to wait in such a small area when she should be in at least a 36x18x36 tank at that time. Those perches are precarious! It's great that you picked varying sizes and heights, but they should never roll or have the opportunity to fall off at any point. It may be easier to remove her, but it dramatically risks her safety and the stability of the perches are of the utmost importance, and they should never ever roll. You can see just how anxious and unstable she is on the perches when you add her in. Analog thermometers/hygrometers are quick to break and read incorrectly, and for a sensitive species like a GTP, it's essential to have as much accuracy as possible so you should really be using a digital hygrometer at the very least and a heat gun. I feel like I should also mention that Green Tree Pythons do utilize UVB even though they may not need it. However, Live plants do not NEED UVB whatsoever and actually will grow just fine under regular lighting. UVB offers no benefits to live plants, and they actually grow better under a different light. I would also try to avoid handling as much as possible as it does stress them out and they are quite fragile. I really hope you will make some improvements to her care as soon as possible and promote a better form of reptile care to your followers.

Rescued a beautiful 4 year old budgie named snowball she’s fully blind and was in a plastic fish tank as the old owner had no clue how to deal with a blind budgie.

She is definitely older than a year old I have an almost 4 year old male her size. You want to put plexiglass on top to prevent the humidity from escaping and get a RHP instead of bulb as they really dry out gtps. With the UVB you want to allow her to hide from it so a side on the top that has leave shading her or just a part where it's not on her. (they hide in the canopy in the wild) Perch size on the top one is actually too big you want to go smaller than the thickest part of their body. You should try using a digital hygrometer and thermometer. Amazon has them for so much cheaper than a pet supply or pet store... much more accurate... I’ve found that the stick on dial is as much as 20% off compared to the digital hygrometer... she’s beautiful 🐍

Wow he's friendly for a GTP. Those stick on thermometers are actually garbage. They are notorious for being 20-30 degrees off at times. You can get regular stick on ones from Lowes or even Walmart. A temp gun really is the best way to tell the aerial temp and the basking temp, but if you're not comfortable using those then I'd definitely get different stick on ones. Or even a digital one with a probe.

Personally I don’t like snakes as pets, but I do admire there beauty and my son has a snake It was really nice to see how you got randomly this beauty it was meant to be honestly... I would love to see a video of how you take care of your reptiles Maybe my son can watch it and have a better understanding of it He wants few of them once we get our own places... I highly recommend your son researching everything about whatever reptile it is he wants, and it's his first I only recommend one not mutiple at one time, as reptiles cost alot for their setup lights feed etc snakes are very sweet, as a stater snake a corn snake is great!! And very sweet and docile to handle, I suggest buying everything months before getting any animals hope that helps

The hydrometer and temperature gauge you're using are not the most accurate and tend to be off. Green tree pythons can be sensitive. I would recommend a digital one. Another thing to invest in would be a dripper for drinking. They prefer that.

Your snake can get gingivitis from eating prey, causing small cuts around their mouth, gums, teeth etc.... If left untreated, it causes an infection. Hence... Gingivitis.
