Hi Omar! Some GD tips (From a 900hr player): - You don't need to save the game - The mobs respawn when you leve a game and re-enter, but your quest progress is still saved - There are no quest markers on the main map, but they do appear on the minimap if you're near the objective - You can just hit R to consume a health pot, E for energy pot (unless you rebound them) - You can use the personal rift to travel to other rifts in the world, or just travel to them by pressing M and clicking the rift - You can teleport back to a personal rift from any of the fixed riftgates - You passed some training dummies before the main entrance gate to the prison you can use to practice your abilities on - Don't be afraid to equip components in your gear, you'll get loads of them and you can unsocket them from gear once you've rescued Darlet - There is an NPC in Devil's Crossing to refund your skill points and devotions - Once you've put points into a mastery you can't undo your mastery choice so be careful - I recommend putting most of your attribute points into physique rather than cunning or spirit - Invest points in the mastery bar, you get a significant increase in attributes as well as unlocking abilities - Avoid spreading points into every ability in your mastery, focus on a couple of abilities and a main damage type depending on what your main ability is (Eg cold, fire, acid, physical, pets, etc) - At level 10 you can choose your second mastery, each combination of masteries results in a unique class - Make sure to click/destroy everything, barrels, rocks, tree stumps, dead bodies - There are some nice guarateed starter drop weapons in act 1, make sure to click the bodies - Item quality/rarity goes white-yellow-green-blue-purple, purples are legendaries and can drop after level 50 - I really suggest getting Ashes of Malmouth & Forgotten Gods if you like the game as it adds 3 masteries: Necromancer, Oathkeeper & Inquisitor - The square abilities are active or toggled abilities, the circles are passives or complement other abilities - Some abilities only need to be toggled on once and you can forget about them, but you need to toggle them on if you make a new game - Not every ability is classed as a 'default attack', only Savagery, Fire Strike, Righteous Fervor and Cadence are deafult attack replacers - Good luck! And Crate announced a THIRD expansion with a TENTH mastery bringing the max possible class combos to a staggering 45.

@@Rokabur As each mastery can be used without a second mastery, you can add 10 more class combos.

Hey. How fun is the game to play solo? I bought it on GOG and would play it solo.

@@michadomeracki5910 It's really fun solo, in fact most people say GD is basically a single player game really! I highly recommend getting the DLCs if you haven't already, they add 3 new cool classes as well as two extra acts to play through.

IMO, Grim Dawn is one of the best of the whole genre. It's a little slow compared to PoE, ie: you won't be dashing around constantly while everything blows up unless you really build for that...But the progression, item and build variety, and story...GD rocks.

It starts a bit slow, but it grows on speed. And it depends on the region you are in. In Veteran mode it's getting harder right from the start. If you want to see what a good player can do, watch the playlist of whitelocks. I always get a bit fuzzy in my head when I watch him racing through the game.

I think it's worth getting the DLC from the start, it won't change the beginning story at all just give more options (classes, items, secret areas, etc). Do what you want of course but the game isn't really complete without the DLC

Oh this is going to be good. *The skill trees, the square icons are active skills, the circular ones are passives or enhance/modify the active skills.

played the hell out of this game during the pandemic. never made it to endgame but got close. miss those days where i didnt need to work :(

Honestly appreciate that there isn't some extensive and annoying character creation process to get playing.

:/ character creation is fun and the beginning of grim dawn is not very convincing.

love how hes slowly reading everything, nothin more annoyin then watchin someone and they skip everything rushing and later on it takes them forever to figure out something that was explained earlier on

From lvl2 to 50 you gain 3 skill points per level, 51 to 90 you gain 2 and 91 to 100 you gain 1 point, you also gain several skill points from doing quests.

Only after upcoming patch 1.2 can you reach to level 100 in the normal game.
