Her rival and then admirer is Amity Blight, and she is 100% adorable Lesbian. I MIGHT ADD this song also matches a MLM couple in the netflix show The Dragon Prince! Their names are Runaan and Ethari, and they are honestly revolutionary in terms of MLM representation in cartoons. Both are masculine guys that aren’t afraid of being outwardly affectionate, and have a lot of depth and are practically essential to the story line. Runaan is the leader of the Moonshadow Elf assassins, and because of that he’s discouraged from showing practically any emotion, and is very stiff and uptight. How did I not know this song got popular? I’ve loved this song for a while and I’m on tiktok, how did I not hear about this earlier?! I’m so happy more people love this song as much as I do, and I’m glad the young person who wrote it is getting more recognition. I first learned about the song because I had heard about the contest, unfortunately after it had already happened or else I would’ve entered. And immediately fell in love with it. I’m so happy for the writer and that they’re working on a musical!!! The contest idea was so amazing and I’m happy for all the winners and I hope their songs blow up like Little Miss Perfect did.

I listened to Little Miss Perfect for the first time a few days ago and I did almost tear up because it took me back to that time when I (as well as other people around me) put too my pressure on myself to be great at everything. Precisely my focus as a writer for kids and YA is to validate these feelings and experiences which adults tend to overlook and minimize. I'm excited for the entire musical already. Edit: i think Joriah posted an update on his channel that one of the "leads" (not sure if it's an online project or smth) is going to be MARIAH ROSE FAITH *insert screaming*

I think it's a little demeaning to tell someone that their problems and feelings aren't as real or big as they say. Ture the problem may not be that big but it might be the biggest thing that has happened to them. Don't be Mendel. Take peoples problems seriously regardless of age:)

I really did not like the show 13 reasons why, I do however love the song. When I heard it I thought it was a cool and relatable song and at the time I didn’t really notice the connection to 13 reasons why. After I realized where the inspiration came from my feelings didn’t change mostly because my main problems with the show were not mentioned in the song. For me it’s just a don’t punish the kid for what their parents did type of situation.

When u said it was related to 13 reasons why my heart got sad. I read the book for a class back when it was said Selena Gomez was going to be Hannah and it was going to be a movie. I really loved the book. I listened to Hannah’s poem on repeat for a month because I discovered the playlist of parts being read aloud. I am so disgusted with how the show was handled on its sensitive parts that I refuse to give it the light of day. I’m glad someone is trying to revive the amazing and powerful story through song. I can’t wait to see what the musical will be like!
