Answer to the Question of the Day: I want to see a load of shows because Beauty and the Beast has just announced a UK tour, and I want to see Six, Come From Away and Dear Evan Hansen SO BADLY. I really want to see my friends cos I haven't seen them in 9+ months (because when quarantine started, I was about to see them for the first time in 3 months so that didn't happen).

I’m excited for two main things: 1. Finally getting to fly to New Zealand for my honeymoon which got cancelled because of the pandemic. 😭 2. Being in Allegiance the musical with a local community theatre. I was cast just before all of the insanity hit, and now we have to wait till hopefully next summer to perform it. I’m glad I have something creative to look forward to, but man it is HARD waiting!

September Q I think it is very exclusive. I’m in the Bay Area, so we have a lot of Asian American talent. Other places might struggle to get the rights because they might struggle to cast it properly.

QOTD: doing/seeing live theatre, irl auditioning, traveling, going out to places with friends. I live in NY so we have different guidelines so I've been able to be with a few friends from time to time and stores and restaurants are open (inside and out depending on where in the state for my town it's both) and I'm set to do Spring Awakening in January so fingers crossed. Also I've been binging the Twilight movies on Hulu and I always forget how hard the music in that slaps

MUSIC RECCS: If you like Billie Eilish, you might enjoy Melanie Martinez! I know there are Melanie fans who don't like Billie and vice versa, but I love them both so there's no harm in checking her out! Her songs have so many messages, it's fun to analyze them and find deeper meanings than what you'd initially think! If you like pop sounds along with more adult themed songs and a TON of women empowerment/inspirational messages, check out Little Mix! They're a British girl group, and they were the first group ever to win X-Factor (2011!) They have 5 full albums and the 6th one is coming later this year! I'd totally recommend Ava Max! That's really all I listen to outside of musicals...except for a couple Shawn Mendez songs, a few Demi Lovato songs, but they're more so just random songs I like and not artists I religiously listen to.
