She saw Love during the Alice in Wonderland event and saw that she and Joe were still very much together, at least, from the way Love explained it, wouldn't you want to keep your nose out of that and seeing how the wife of a guy you're crushing on was still into her husband? "He said you were breaking up", girl, he told you that and also attended the ball with her and wife gave no indication of this, why believe him? You're supposed to be smart, Marienne! I had a huge problem with Love in this season. Every time she would kill it would end up being joes fault. Also, when it came to getting rid of the bodies she couldn’t do it and made it seem like it was joes responsibility. Then when it came to joe thinking about someone and didn’t even cheat yet, love got extremely mad but she was over here sleeping with a 19 year old. There was so much double standards in this season.
@michelstephanygarces94313 жыл бұрын
But it was Joe's fault. Don't get me wrong, Love also annoyed me a bit this season but she wouldn't have killed without Joe's cheating in the first place. She killed Natalie cuz Joe was clearly getting obsessed with her and was emotionally cheating. She was also going to kill Marianne cuz of Joe too. She said it herself, he would definitely kill for him and she loved him soo much that any women who would get in between them was a threat lol. Every time Joe said he would get better he was still cheating. Love cheated because she wasn't getting that love and sense of importance in her relationship, I mean that is an excuse but still understandable. I do think Love was impulsive af and wasn't too smart with her choices but Joe is just as bad, the writing of the show just tricks us into thinking he is better.
@MP-ns4cu3 жыл бұрын
@@michelstephanygarces9431 I agree with you. Joe was a problem cuz he got emotional with the women. But like Love made it seem like her cheating was okay. Like when joe tried to question her, she dismissed him and made it seem like the crush with Theo was one sided. But when it came to joe being just a emotional invested in a women it was a problem. Also, she used Henry as a crutch. Like when Joe yelled at Love when she killed Natalie she made it seem like Henry needed to be take care of and she couldn’t help. Then when Joe said he was planning on leaving Love she was all upset but when Theo brought up about leaving and blaming it all on Joe, she did not defend him. It seemed like she thought about it. Lastly, Love was emotionally and physically invested in Theo but when it happened to Joe it was a big problem.
@michelstephanygarces94313 жыл бұрын
@@MP-ns4cu omg I was sooooo mad when Love didn't defend Joe about the abuse thing that Theo brought up. Like she just stayed quiet, it's like she was planning all along to blame every moment of her impulsiveness that happened in Madre Linda on Joe and have someone to back her up (Theo) just in case. I agree with many of things you said about her tho, definitely dislike her a lot more than I thought I would. To me, Love just likes to play the victim and just emotionally manipulate everyone around her (which is also a thing Joe does but way more subtly and smarter). Joe seems way more rational and that is crazy for me to say lol.
@MP-ns4cu3 жыл бұрын
@@michelstephanygarces9431 you are so right. She likes to be irrational about things and then feel like she is completely justified. And Joe will manipulate someone long term where his victims feel like it was there idea. But, Love and Joe are just a mirror of each other and could not deal with each other bc they were too much alike. I thought it was crazy how love can just make friends and Joe can’t. Like they are the same type of person but Love can hide it so well that no one notices until it is too late. I enjoyed season 3 but I am so curious about where season 4 is gonna go. Is Henry gonna become like his dad? Will Joe ever get caught? Will the PI that the Salinger’s hired every figured out what happened to Peach? I need these answered 😩

The entirety of this season is based on a concept: Love’s impulsive behavior; and Joe’s patience, even though they both root from the same trauma and desire the same thing. It’s how they go about it. She impulsively poisons him as soon as she becomes sceptical. He patiently researched the plants she was taking care of in the garden. Also, your line about minding your own black business made me actually cry. I know it’s not just for shows. It just … makes me really sad that there are beautiful people who suffer for no reason. When you said it like that, it made me hurt.

I think Joe isn't really in it with Love anymore because he thinks what he's done is justified and what Love did isn't. In Joe's head, everything he does is in the name of love. For the most part, his murders are people who Joe deems in the way of a love story and just shitty people in general. Benji, Peach, Ron, Henderson, Jasper are all bad people in reality, or in Joe's reality. In the Season 2 finale, Love kills Delilah. Delilah isn't a bad person at all, and didn't deserve the fate she ending up receiving. Joe's only reason for not killing Love is because she's pregnant. This was truly the moment Joe fell out of love with Love. Joe finds Love more impulsive and reckless then he is, and i think that's actually the case. Natalie and that anti-vaxer dude both were very messy and uncalculated kills. Joe doesn't like Love anymore because Joe believes his kills are justified and Love's are spur of the moment poor decisions.

Okay, but hear me out, I feel like ALL of the children Joe has been connected with (Paco in S1, Ellie in S2, and now Henry in S3, and possibly Julieatte in S4) will ultimately play a larger role in the future. We've seen Joe go toe-to-toe (possible pun intended) with literally his greatest matches, the most recent being Love. My theory is that these children might be Joe's end, as in it's possible that these children might actually be the ones who can stop him. Either way, bring on Season 4!!!
