Great video. Think one thing to keep in mind is that Fugue will enable your Break team if you want to switch over to Remembrance MC. Good for players that want to play both simultaneously and don't have other team options built.

In my opinion, the question is what are the chances that I will fully go Remembrance on my MC and will need to replace them with the only other super break enabler in the game, Fugue?

One important thing I don't see enough people talking about is Fugue and HMC have different Super Break multipliers. Fugue gives you an instance of 100% Super Break. HMC gives you anywhere from a 120% Super Break to a 160% Super Break, depending on how few enemies there are on field. This makes Firefly, whose whole kit is designed around proccing these Super Break instances as often as possible, inherently favor HMC who simply gives a stronger Super Break proc. Fugue's other buffs do make it to where the difference between the two is minimal, however, especially against 5 targets. Boothill and Rappa, on the other hand, benefit massively from the additional *normal* Break instance that Fugue allows them to proc, since both of their kits ramp up based on how many times they *normal* Break an enemy.

Love your point in 6:08. Fugue not only gives an improvement on current superbreak teams, but she allows more flexibility on team comps. So many times I've wanted Ruan Mei to be in another team, or my lingsha to be in my Feixiao team (because I don't want to pull Aventurine lol). I'm also a believer that the exo toughness mechanic is going to be very useful in the long run. Sadly Sunday's straightforward kit is much more appealing to much of the playerbase, especially with the hype that remembrance characters are getting now.

I really want Fugue just because she is Fugue/Tingyun. But also, I always wanted to have two independent super break teams, I just love that playstyle. Fugue will definitely go in a team with Rappa, those extra breaks thanks to exo-toughness are a nice synergy I think. Meanwhile Harmony MC will stay with wife- I mean, Firefly.

I've seen a lot of people mentioning this, so sorry for repeating :P. Next patch (if drip marketing is to be believed) we're getti g the summons (remembrance) meta started. And unless you pull for Aglaea, Remembrance MC is going to be the sole available unit for that path. And the superbreak team would become useless unless you had Fugue. So to me she is pretty much a mandatory pull for superbreak enjoyers. Maybe wait to hear from betas to see if remembrance MC is good or not. But to be safe most super break users will need her.

the great thing about Fugue is that in some teams you don't even want Ruan Mei (iirc Rappa and Xueyi because they stay weakness broken for so long their damage falls off), so you can indeed run one 'traditional' superbreak with HMC and Ruan Mei on one side, and the other side use Fugue and Pela for example with a different DPS. Personally I will get Fugue anyway because I freaking love her design and it's Tingyun sooooooooooooo yeah obviously I'm gonna pull xD but she has good uses in multiple scenarios.

As a Rappa enjoyer, fugue's utility is so good she's basically a must, they synergize so well with rappa getting lots of energy and a ton of stacks for crazy ult dmg. Either hmc will have to be swappen for rmc in 3.x giving fugue her slot there, or just run sustainless w/o gallagher who'll freely go to Acheron team.

I think one of the most fun comps would be "Dementia in China" team with Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Fugue, and Lingsha. Let me cook like jiao, so first, remember how fugue enables an ally to def shred on all of their attacks? Well, miss lingsha over here attacks so frequently (and also fills the role of sustain). Now she is a battery for acheron together with jiao. I think achy will be able to do maybe even more than 7 ults in a single cycle with that team.

Great video in terms of getting to know the information in her kit and how they will interact in a break team I am currently really torn when it comes to figuring out if I should get fugue because I lost my 50/50 on ruan mei so I don't have her and hoped I could replace her by getting fugue but didn't really get the answer through this video also I saw a synergy of fugue in the acheron team giving foxian prayer to aventurine to generate stacks so I was wondering if that is a viable strategy as I don't have e2 acheron and no good 2nd nihility besides pela some insight to these questions could really help me make a decision thanks in advance :)

1)as far as i saw on the beta(and some comments), Fugue replaces HTB in most teams as long as she is E0, after E1 or E2 (Apparently) she replaces RM in some teams like Rappa(Don't know about BH or FF), basically, she will be your best shot if you lack RM, aldo RM + Fugue will be better. 2)also saw that synergy, since you lack a second nihility(i assume you mean you don't have jiaoqiu or gui, shame since Jiaoqiu is an absolutely god unit for Acheron) i would also recommend Fugue for her, using Fugue skill on your suport(aventurine in your case, but gallagher also works) should give you a great amount of stacks every attack in general. if you want, there are MoC clears with this combo and they do quite well(aldo all use acherons lg, which is basically a necessity for her stacks and damage(crying in no Acheron lightcone cus i'm saving to get sunday and his LC, had to use fermata util now when i luckly got 3 boundless choreo or whatever the name was) basically: for break teams, fugue will be your second best in slot if you don't have RM, and she has great synergy with acheron as well.

The earlier reply to your comment made a lot of good points. 👍 Here's something else to consider. Fugue is best at replacing Harmony Trailblazer. For Break teams specifically, Fugue, Harmony Mc, and Ruan Mei are the BIS support characters to pair up with our Firefly/Boothill/Rappa. We can just pick 2 out of those 3 and it'll blast through most, if not all, content with relative ease. We can even go for a riskier team with zero sustain and have all three support characters. Fugue just allows more room to cook.

Fugue can make any dps do the back to back DPS Break number. for example instead of 500k then 300k, it's 500k back to back. she is doing what hmc is doing but extremely way more. she can turn any character into a break dps. Welt is getting a buff from fugue as he slow's enemies. But he can break them and slow them? Now that's wild, plus he already had nice toughness reduction from the start and fugue increases toughness efficiency. she shred's defense which is the golden thing for break. TLDR: Fugue is a safer pick than sunday and a way more comfortable harmony mc, they can even be ran together as hmc can get more energy through fugues exo toughness.

if your acheron is e0 than why not both on the team? fugue maybe a 5* but pela has def sherd on her ult while fugue enables superbreak. I'm pulling her too for my e0s1 acheron. you can take my idea and try it for yourself. my team would be fugue with resolution, fuxuan with trends of marketing, 160+ pela on tutorial and e0s1 acheron. fugue skill on pela cause her basic doesn't apply debuff, with tutorial lightcone you get more energy =more ults=more stacks for acheron. let me know your opinion as well

Well Boothill and Rappa do rely on breaking a lot. And exo toughness is a real break, meaning extra badges, extra bleed, uh idk if you can double imprison...but you get it. Rappa does get her power up to twice as quickly. And even Firefly will most certainly be way stronger with Fugue over MC because she's still a fire character.

In a 1 to 1 scenario, I believe Ruan Mei's number on her action delay is higher. Once we start to add variables like HMC + Fugue, it becomes muddy since that's 2 to 1 comparison instead of a 1 to 1.

She does no damage basically. Like, HMC is much superior. HMC skill does like 100k 3 target and 200k one target Fugue Basic does 40k at 3 targets if you have a good build on her. Also her ultimate is the same thing, half or less than Lingsha's ultimate in Super Break and even Break damage. But also she makes Lingsha causing no damage, her kit is more oriented to single target buffing so she makes lingsha hit less than 100k super break sometimes in 4 or 5 target. But in normal break she stills slaps so you can play with her in PF without losign that much damage and abuse Exo Bars httinf somes 400k 5 targets 2 times in minions. (didn't watch showcases because i don't want to see the animations) i bet Welt built in break can do more... i tried my himeko (with FF relics on 140% BE) and she did 50k with her skill (broke 2 side enemies, the main one wasn't broken) and 90k with FuA (broke another small enemy so in total 3 targets + a bit of damage to unbroken ones). there is no way in hell fugue will do so little damage.

@Luke27WT It's actually strange for me too but i gonna say it what can be the problem [Spoiler of her kit] *Fugue Buffs and Debuffs:* - She can't use the Harmony Break set and her two only buff (direct damage increase let's say) is 66% Break to an ally and 36% Break to others ally + 100% Super Break multiplier which is lower than HMC occult 100% Super Break Multiplier + 20%/30%/40%/50%/60% extra multiplier that changes with amount of enemies. (HMC with 200% Break have at least 64% AoE break damage buff. This without the Harmony set included) So, we have already 2 reponses for her low Super Break damage. She doesn't focus much in direct AoE damage increases, but stills strange for me. - She have AoE debuffs, insane ones, her LC has higher Vulnerability than Jiaoqiu's e0s0 kit without Ultimate niche applied (let's say indirect damage increases). But looks like that they managed to equilibrate her damage increases capabilities giving Fugue low Direct Damage Increases. Because in damag calculation debuffs came after. This doesn't make her weaker than HMC (but stills like every others 5☆ support weaker than Dance Dance Dance) because they gived her Exo Bar, which debuffs (indirect damage increases) came after in damage calculation too but only has 1 direct damage increases, the Break%, but this makes Break strong, not like the Super Break damage strong. Making Firefly get her first 1 million damage off Puppets and Banana quintuple bosses. 1 new response. She focus more in increasing Break damage than Super Break damage. But i still don't get it, i think that everyone reading this agree. *Fugue Personal kit:* - her enhanced basic atk is not a enhanced basic atk. Have a normal tenacity but affects adjacents enemies too, so that's why she doesn't cause damage comparable to HMC who have like the highest tenacity deplet in a single skill. Not even her big energy ultimate cost, if she causes big damage, the rest of teammates cause more. Don't be sad, she's not nerfed, her kit is more Hypercarry oriented which focus in increasing the Main Super Break DPS damage by mixing with Normal Break, which doesn't scales from characters's kit, this makes Super Break DPS more future proof too, so if she had an insane tenacity deplet stats, she was going against off her own kit and making Super Break really bad. 1,5 new response. So we can get now why she causes so little Super break damage comparing to HMC but for Lingsha, don't ask me, i really don't understand. In theory is that she focus more in 1 ally and mix Super Break with Break, that's why Lingsha only hits high damage when she breaks the enemy (really high) but stills man, just compare HMC to Fugue's buffs, my brain can't get it. The only response i can give to this is the same Robin's monopoly case. "You can buffs Crit Damage, DMG%, and inflicf a ton of debuffs, but if you don't buff attack, the result of the damage will be MID. My ATK buff is the first stat in damage calculation" Robin/Tingyun saying this to Sunday and every other Harmony basically (i'm just considering damage per screen) In Fugue's case this was going to HMC having much higher Super Break multipliers%, which is the First stat in Super Break calculation and have higher stat too in the second stat in damage calculation, this being the Break%. Also she/he have much higher Tenacity reduction than Fugue, who has normal tenacity reduction. *That's it.* Also, if you skipped all this information. This is not bad, she gives better results than HMC and makes Break DPS more future proof.

If I recall correctly, Lingsha has higher numbers on her personal damage compared to Fugue's. Putting that aside, let's assume their personal damage numbers are equal. - Lingsha attacks much more frequently via Rabbit+Talent - Lingsha has true AoE(hits all targets) - Fugue's EBAs is 1 target plus adjacent(Max 3 targets)

That's a perfectly fine team to run for Firefly. Of the three break damage characters (Firefly, Rapp, Boothill), Firefly benefits most from super break. So you could get away with running Harmony Mc + Fugue instead of Ruan Mei.

I came up with a good Idea. Once, I got Lingsha and her Lightcone, I'll try going for Ruan Mei's Lightcone next on her Rerun. It of course depends when Lingsha has her Rerun and if I can save up enough for it until then. Since, it's possible that I'll go for Firefly's Lightcone next if Lingsha isn't in 3.0. Even so, I can save up for Firefly's and Ruan Mei's E1s on their Reruns afterwards. Should be enough F2P Pulls for them. Only depends if I can win the 50-50 on Lingsha. What are your Thought, Guys?

I can say for certain that Lingsha will NOT be rerunning in 3.0. She might come back somewhere in 3.X but it should be relatively in the later versions.

Firefly should be the priority if you can only guarantee one. You can't play a break team without the premier break damage dealer (Firefly). Since both warp banners will be out simultaneously, you could always get lucky and use whatever you have remaining to try for Fugue after getting Firefly.

Fugue at her worst is still better than Harmony MC but her improvement is not as high on Fireflys team vs Rappa/Boothill teams. If the only team you care about is Firefly then Fugue might not be worth it for you to chase. You could still throw a few tickets at her but know when to stop. One more thing to consider is that playing Remembrance TB means Harmony TB will be unavailable.

Fugue gives the entire team a superbreak by simply existing. Harmony MC would need to use their ultimate to give the superbreak mechanic. As of right now, Harmony MC does have a higher superbreak value, but Fugue has other advantages to make up for it, such as her exo-toughness mechanic.

Any combination of two from HMC, Fugue, and Ruan Mei will be top-tier with Rappa. Once you get Fugue, you might want to start looking for better sustain. Natasha is okay during the early game, but she will struggle eventually with harder content in the mid-to-late game.

fugue is a unit with not much of a future. 3.X will be summon based and they wont release any new break focused dps for a long time so they will just get overshadowed by summon characters. was no different with DoT. They are relasing her now when break is still relevant to cash out as much as possible but people will still pull.

I kinda doubt that. Summons will be meta, no doubt about it. But I doubt fua, break, and dot will all fall off a cliff as a result. They just won't be super top tier. Hell, to this day people are still clearing end game with dot, and it isn't meta at all. Fugue is fine for super break comps and will likely be good enough to handle end game. But if people want the easiest time, sure. Do summon meta and click auto battle.

Fugue + Harmony Trailblazer is a "good enough" duo for Rappa that you won't "need" to pull for Ruan Mei. However, getting Ruan Mei would give you more flexibility in team-building.

Here, e1 and e2 are both excellent, but as a newer player, you might get more value out of new characters rather than chasing Eidolon copies. For example, Sunday is going to be the best support for future Remembrance (summon) characters, so instead of going for Fugue copies, maybe go for Sunday if you're ever interested in building Summon teams.

I've been getting by. I have E1 FF and plan to get E2. I've been starting to struggle after hoolays boss fight entered MoC. Though hoolay is a pain with her too without E2 for me. I assume you mean PF for Herta, to that I've been building my Herta recently for The Herta coming up. Pela is pretty much my only option in such a team and I've been hoping for an upgrade that ISNT Ruan Mei. Pela was my best go-to with the 100% or so total def debuffs until now luckily. It was pretty acceptable before but now I need that team change!

@@startron252 fuck i meant Asta not Herta, sorry for the typo, Asta can deal good toughness damage against single target enemies, boosts speed and gives attack buffs, but she's not really worth building in my opinion cause she's rarely BiS for any teams, unlike Pela who works in every team possible. Good luck on your pulls, hopefully you will get her early, personally i got Ruan back in 1.6 before even knowing who she is, i started the game around the end of Huohuo's banner in 1.5 so i wasn't playing for long when she was released, i just got her due to the community saying she's op, i didn't regret it though, i kinda liked her morally gray personality, she doesn't care much if what she's doing is good or bad, it's all for the pursuit of science, and now she's a pillar in the team of my favorite character (Firefly). However i applaud you for not pulling her despite how good she is, using a character you don't like just cause they're good would just result in you leaving them to collect dust in the end (or even make you bored with the game), personally I'm never gonna pull Topaz and Jade for example, even though both of them are pretty good (Jade only in PF though) because i just absolutely hate their characters, Jade's "dommy mommy" personality drove me away pretty quickly, and i hated Topaz because of her Jarilo story

One problem. You keep saying colorless breaker, but at least last time I checked, the ally only deals 50% efficiency and it doesn't stack so Fugue's skill on Boothill, Boothill's only breaking 50% as quickly, and Rappa's enhanced basics already have 50% efficieny on non imaginary weak enemies so Fugue's skill LITERALLY only gives Rappa some extra break effect and the ability to tickle an enemy's bar with her skill and normal basic attack. With that being said, I'm absolutely pulling Fugue for my Rappa because I don't have Lingsha or Ruan mei (yet) and while Gallagher's fine enough, I need to get rid of Asta. + My Acheron kinda sucks and trying out Breacheron with Acheron Fugue Pela Aventurine sounds fun as f***.
