I'm here for the positive reminder to be a better person, especially with the toxic work culture that's around my ways. Your video about your dad and you got me talking to my old man again. You have taught me so much about how to run my saws properly, file, saw care etc. I come to this channel to learn, laugh and connect. Thanks for all that you do buckin, love ya Buddy.

I’m here because I grew up helping my dad cut and put up enough wood to heat through a Michigan winter. Have been running a saw since I was 12. Now I’m in my late 40s and gentrified… I only pick up a saw a couple times a year to help pops clear downed trees around his house. I’ve stayed for the message. In a world of fake people you are one of the most genuine. I grew up surrounded by men like you. Humble, hard working, sleeveless flannels, a shed full of Mcculloch saws and heartfelt talk next to the wood stove.

Why am I here? You asked I will tell ya straight up. No B.S. That and I am an ole school like you. 54 The first big saw I ran was a hussy 1100 or 2100 dont know. We used a short bar to cut fire wood. Later on she went to a local saw shop in the80's and reached her sustainable potenttial. was a lot older and bigger fella the and even thogh she was a little fat I fell in love. That waz after my DAD went into the sawmill buisnes. I have always loved to run equiptment or anything that we, meaning it and me could do. You know what I am talking about. My lower unit, from L4 down doesnt wana play well. So I have gained so much motivation and info to get off my ars and do better. Passion. You speak andteach things that no other does. Old school truth with love and hope knowing that the yuongens will take hold and dig in and be what they are designed to be according to whats in their heart. Yes I busted up a bit, but I aint dead yet. You have helped me in more ways than you know.!!!

First reason I am here is respect. Second reason is you have taught me so much. I have been a heavy machine plant fitter, a factory metal machinist, a welder, a woodworker/jig maker/re-designer for when the factory got it wrong. They called me a legend The last reason is I bought my first chain saw within the last 6 months at age 70 and I realize that all of the above was a waste of parts of my life. Not really because I can rebuild them as easy as cooking the dinner but you get the idea. I love what you do You inspire me and have taught me so much through the last 3 months or so. So I am here to say thank you so much. You are a Legend

I’m here because I noticed a yellow McCulloch chainsaw on your channel, exactly like the one I used as a kid growing up in northern BC. cutting firewood. I thought “ this guy must be from BC and I bet he’s the real thing, a real logger.” So I clicked on the window. It was more than that though, more than just cutting trees. There was this guy with a spiritual side to him saying “friends work hard, be kind, tell the truth.” I’m taking your advice, and I watch episodes frequently. Thanks for the positive message.

That’s cool side-by-side to show the difference you have shown a lot of different varieties of dues and don’ts You’ve grown so much that’s awesome. I hope to be somewhere at a growing pace. Like you have, I can say, I have worked hard all my life doesn’t everybody. If I told you everything I would have to convince you most of my comments on your videos. I listen to what you say and I comment and then I watch the rest of the video and you end up answering or we’re on the same wave length it’s crazy I started writing this then I paused and listen to you more, and then you said you want to hear from us and I was already riding but I work 48 hours a week at a grocery store I am a meat, cutter, I cut firewood on the side and sell. It helps with Christmas and other things I do. I trim trees and landscape when someone’s in need like you say be kind don’t overcharge and I take care of five houses monthly landscaping in Arizona 118° after work I justifying how hard at work but that’s just a start.😊

@Buckin' Billy Ray What an odd question to ask? Especially when this is one of the first videos I've clicked on of yours in months!!! It almost feels.... yeah. Anyway, I haven't been around the channel much lately because I've actually been talking your advice and trying to get out there and make stuff happen. I've been building a little firewood clientele along with restoring and hanging vintage axes. Life's been getting better friends and I owe you some credit for that. You spoke into me while I was a really low point. Helped me remember to keep my head up. So get out there and find something to do that excites you friends, and please as always, be kind to eachother. Because buckin is right, love really does win.

A come for the whole vibe. Love it. I remember bunyan last year never got to see the show. Spent the whole time talking to the buckin army. If you ever travel to my brother Marks shop I have two trees that need to come down, a 5’ and 4’ popular tree I’m less than 1/4 mile from him. Ripsaws shop looks awesome,!!

Almost 2 years ago my wife and I bought a place on 7 acres. Half of it is woods. We have 2 fire places. That we use to help heat the house. I'm 52. Never had to worry about getting my own wood. Last winter I bought a saw. To start getting my own wood. I first started watching you. To learn. As I watched more videos. I really liked watching. I love your positive attitude. Like hearing you alwosy showing love. So you now have me coming back for more than just learning.

I am here for two main reasons, I love working with power saws which I have used to heat my home for over forty years and the things I have learned from Buckin have been wonderful. The second reason is the team/family I have met so many wonderful friends including Buckin and I will say the real draw to continue here is the team members that continue to grow. Blessings to all ♥️♥️

I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I´m here because of your honest humble style, great content and watching videos from different periods of your youtube career I can tell that you have kept sincere and not jumped on the much tempting sponsor wagon that so many youtubers seem to jump on. I love your messages of spreading the love and helping one another. I have struggled with my mental health the past year but I am now in a much better place, stumbling upon your videos have given. me the last little kick I needed to reinvent my life. Keep up the good work and stay true. Love and gratitude from Norway.

Buckin always enjoy your positivity, hand filing, cool new things and running a mix of different saws in different scenarios. As a recreational guy who bucks for firewood and trail clearing. Because of you, my saws are hands-down so much better cutters, my technique and skills have improved and I enjoy it so much more. Keep er’ in the wood!
