Black sea games studio just got its freedom back from Crytek and they are making knights of honor 2. With some pictures they released so far its basically KoH 2 but i have a feeling the game will have a different name, Crytek bought the rights few years ago.

So nostalgic seeing this game again! I remember playing it back when it was released. I bought it on steam straight after watching this episode and was so delighted to see KoH2 is in the works! I hope they do a great job! I'm sure they will see the popularity of games like CK2 and remember not every he re needs dumbing down

I didn't know there was that many people watching KoH videos. I'm glad the game isn't dead. As soon as I get my new computer I'll start playing again. I had 25 cities last time I played. The second biggest country had 13. This game rocks. God I WANNA PLAY Subbed.

ehm i endet up capturing every single province in the game with 168 castles in my first game - but it also took me about 3 months on and off playing before i was done - it can be done faster but that's no fun

Ghostyfreaks Didn't know if it was actually possible to do so. I'll take a picture of country later, I used denmark and become huge. Thinking I couldn't have every province, I made the 5 strongest ones my subordinates, making them pay me.

it is, i did it with leon using feudal knights as soon as i got them and fully defence based castles with archers - and wenn you win then you get a diffrent victory screen only made for that senario =). depending on if you use the cd version or the steam version of the game - there is a buttom that can speed up the game - makes it easier to achive =)

fun fact - the pope can be eleminated from the game and will if you go for fully domination - unless you keep it going xD

Ghostyfreaks You use teuto knights? Always used feudal knights. I aim for the the commander and kill him to make the troops give up. Use archers for defense How do you do to keep the whole place stable with only 9 commanders for such a big map? (and slow troops) I'm really curious now

I always start as one of the provinces on the island of Ireland, then I unite it in a quick back-stab using two armies and a lot of deceit, then I go from there turning Europe into one Empire under the Irish-flag!

This was much better than the game tutorial lol now i can play the game better. I started as highlands and just built a bunch of peasants attacked my nearest town and took it over. Made the kingdom of Scotland got 5000 gold. LOL

Funny how I got high around 6 months ago and checked this video out because my friends call me Honour(Turkish living in Poland, easier way to pronounce and all that) and didn't even notice it was your video. Remember playing this alot back in the days and archers, alot of good archers will kill any enemy so always focus on getting those. Oh, and get the talent so that you cant hit your own soldiers with your arrows.

I remember playing this with my cheap PC, I would send out a spy to other nations, murder all their kings and successors, and taken the country for myself without the cost of a single troop, ah, good memories. Can't bring myself to play it now though, probably I am spoiled by games nowadays or I am just tired of rts now.

I get so pissed off when I see "Germany" in games in the damn middle ages. That's just the devs being lazy, that country did not exist til the late 1800s

+DRsideburns I understand why they do it, it's to appeal to the American market. Your average American probably wouldn't see "Prussia" and know that it's modern day Germany because they don't learn European history as in detail as you would living in Europe. It's not very accurate to call it Germany, but I wouldn't get pissed off about it.

I'm a history nut so I can't control getting pissed off xD. And I get its for simplicity cause the HRE was a complicated mess, but if they not gonna try to recreate it accurately at least make a few small countries like Brunswick and Munster, don't just slap Germany in there and call it a day. And what the average American knows shouldn't inform those decisions, Americans don't know about Genoa or Lithuania... heck, they barely know where Austria is. But EU4 has had all kinds of success

+DRsideburns I think Munster actually is in the game at some age, not sure when though. It's also worth keeping in mind that this game came out 9 years before EU4 and was made by a small UK studio who was trying to appeal to an American audience, hence the title spelling "Honour" as "Honor". They were playing it safe on minor things like country names to make it more memorable, I don't hold that against them. Personally I prefer accuracy over familiarity and I'm a big EU4 fan.

+neongecko06 I was mistaken due to me first playing this game when the internet wasn't nearly as useful for getting information like that. Things like KZbin didn't even exist when I first played this game. I've since been corrected on this game being Bulgarian at least a hundred times.

My way of winning the game is by making the most strongest could countries my vassals and then I give them most of their land back which significantly improves relations with them and then I make them sign all the possible treaties... The only problem is altought they are vassals they more resemble romes 2 client states... Wish they could resemble more of a satrapy

It's a Bulgarian game and history is different in different countries, especially during the Cold war, so sadly there are a LOT of issues with naming/translation. We can happily blame the publisher and politics for that (:

Hello! So when i have pope i can start crusade right? But, when i choose one marshal and start crusade he becomes knights templar and has an army... But after maybe 10 sec. he turns to normal marshal, with no crusade army... Is it maybe me who dont know how to use it right, or maybe some problem in game? Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Pagan lol actually no because if you play with Zeta and conquer Raska and Macedonia game automatically switch as kingdom of Serbia. Serbs love the game since here they can conquer the world haha

This is a copy-paste of someone on Steam, that figured it out. Ok I got it to work but it wasn't easy. I want some other people to try it. What I did was edit the KoH.in2 file. Which you may have tried but there is more to it stay with me. C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Black Sea Studios\Knights Of Honor open KoH.in2 and change the width and height to whatever you want. I'm using 1920 1080. Now open the game. It will pop up with the setup screen. go though the different video settings testing each one until you find the one that fills your screen. Thats it just select it each time you start the game and it will be widescreen. Let me know if i works for you.
