DO NOT underestimate status effects and Auto plugs. They help tremendously. And also be careful with status effects against you, ESPECIALLY Trip and Dizzy, during bosses. You'll have to waste a turn curing them, or praying that they recover on their own.

Don’t go sleeping on the status effect and auto healing plugs they can be used before a bros turn and status effects are definitely smth you’d rather not deal with

Yeah, the Extension Corps are my favorite characters in the game. Followed by IDLE. They're often involved in the funniest bits that Brothership has to offer.

Extension Corps my beloved. I’m always a sucker for goofy villain teams, and these goobers easily take the cake as some of my favorites. I get the disinterest in status effects, but don’t sleep on them here. Like, the dizzy status straight up prevents someone from acting _at all,_ and that’d be a free extra effect you can apply just by _jumping_

I finished Brothership a little while ago and I've been DYING to see you guys get back to playing this game- I think it's legitimately probably my favorite game out of the whole Mario and Luigi series, no joke. It's so good dude!!!!!!!

That was something the LOS seriously needed (something that far too many Paper Mario bosses don't do across the series, besides SPM). Like, I want to see members squabble each other, and the Extension Corps fight each other a lot, which I love.

I love the Extension Corps (shun especially) They really feel like power ranger villains, in a good way Zokket's misnaming bit is so good For the bird attacks: the quick one goes straight, while the long one veers over to the other brother Yeah surefooted guard seems useless, until you realize the dizzy and trip status prevent you from dodging or attacking or healing and you get fucking annihilated by an enemy hitting you 10 times in a row Also you're kinda sleeping on that 15% damage boost on dizzying attack, it's honestly worth it on its own (Honestly there's only 2 plugs that I actively think are lame, and one of them is easy-peasy-counters)

I'm really glad that you are still playing this game. Maybe it's the recency bias speaking, but having recently finished this game, I think that Brothership might be my favorite Mario RPG. It's so charming!

I hope you had a happy new year's! Since I know this whole thing is a bit, I can find it amusing, but it definitely feels like a bit much. I appreciate that Zokket is just as much of an oddball as his? underlings. This game has been doing a great job with its more humorous aspects. Agreed that the whole thing with Ten was excellent. Also neat to have a new mechanic! And to finally be able to use those sprite bulbs! Sounds like IDLE are going to be continuing characters, like Wilma, Maykit, and Bildit. That's nice to hear.

If the birds screw their head they go for the bro they are facing and if they shake their head they will go for the bro they are not facing hope this helps because not to spoil but you will be seeing them for awhile Edit: The Auto Item Plugs are extremely useful because you can use a item automatically and you don’t waste your turn

Ok, I'm an Italian. I do not think you should break your pasta, what I believe is the correct thing to do is stick them in the pot and let them get a little soft so then you can push the rest in (it doesn't take long, they're not gonna be uneven). HOWEVER, if you are serving a large amount of people or are low on it I think it's reasonable to break your pasta in half. Also Happy New Year guys. :D P.S. Yes it's racist but it's ok I forgive you. (joke)

The Extension Corps are plain excellent. Ecks is perfectly hateable, Ten has that style, and Shun you have to feel for (he eventually does get his turn to shine).

The status effects from the plugs never really worked out for me but the nice thing is they all come with damage boosts so even without the status effects the plugs were still useful. I have to make a note to revisit something from this episode later. (So I remember it's S+P)

Glad to see you guys finally gain access to the battle plugs. 🔌 It's legitimately a great mechanic with tons of customization and strategic flexibility. It's one of the main reasons I love this game as much as I do.

Auto use for items is nothing to ignore since it doesn't take your turn so you basically get an extra turn, though some fights i have been in the auto use is not triggering when i am at 4 HP which is annoying.

QotD: as someone with Italian ancestry, I don't particularly care what other people do with their own food. I think it's weird (although that might also be because I'm not sure why you would break up long pasta noodles) and wouldn't do it but it's harmless so whatever. (Or lean into it and mess with noodle shapes in weirder ways. Catch me individually cutting open my ziti and serving them in sheets. etc.)
